I hate beer. I rarely drink, but i was out with my uncles and they got me wasted (they had to sneak shots to me)
It was a mix drink, 'Sex On The Beach' was the name.

Jack and coke. That's a man's drink. I like rum (Myers is the best) and gin a lot. Mix it with either coke or 7up.
I'm not much of a beer drinker. It just doesn't taste good. But I can get down with some Red Stripe. My mother is from Jamacia, so I've had it a number of times. When I was down there a while back, when I was about 13, we were drinking rum punch. All the kids were.

Beer on a Budget : Keystone Light ( According to people who work at the Coors plant, this is the same exact beer as Coors light. When you pay more for Coors its just due to the advertising etc .. ).

Shot : Alternate between Jose Cuervo and Jager.

Good call. For me, add Margaritas to that as well as a drink I call a Royal Redneck. It's Southern Comfort with RC Cola and a splash of lime.
Edit: On nights when I bowl league with my wife and I want a drink, I always order red bull and vodka. It's weird because you feel drunk but you're amped from the red bull.

I'm a Bud Light guy myself....which means I go for quanity and not quality.
My problem is that I'm very finicky about the beer I drink. I can't stand Coors Light, I can't even get a swallow of it down....which tends to cause me problems since it's a very popular beer.
I don't drink the hard stuff anymore, I haven't in years...I grew out of it I guess...I now leave the shots to the "just turners" who tend to be the only ones who drink that stuff anymore around these parts.

That’s a premium bourbon we’re talking about here. It should be enjoyed with ice and maybe a splash of water. If you want to mix whiskey and coke go buy some Dickle or Four Roses.

I used to like the margaritas at the Rio Grande in Fort Collins. I've never seen my folks drunk before 1998 or so until they had the frozen stuff at the Rio. They must have had some complaints (at the Rio Grande) since they don't seem as strong as they once were.

dammit this thing with the 'internal error" thing ate my friggin post.
OK, once more:
cheap beer: southpaw, but if you hit a milwaukee's best ice tallboy with hafl teaspoon of table salt, it's drinkable after the first one hits your brain/tongue.
macro: bud lt, coors lt's ok.
Micro: Mississippi sucks cause of the liquor laws that have a state agency importing all booze into the state (don't ya know some ahole's getting rich on graft) resulting in bad selection and high prices with prolly less taxes than could be collected if the stores could buy direct. No beer sold in liquor stores; no beer with over 6%. I homebrewed for years to get a credible clone of Sierra Nevada's bigfoot ale with lots of cascade and alc % around 8-9%. I also put out what imo was a IPA better than sierra nev's pale ale, back when I was getting malt extract from budvar in the czech republic and using rice extract to lighten the body with no loss of alc. Last really good micro I recall was Full Sail's seasonal IPA. Lots of abita beers here, but imo they all suck. Fat tire is of course tasty.
Cheap booze: Burnett's vodka. the liquor store has a house brand that's the same stuff, but even cheaper.
Good booze: a single malt or Jamesons. I used to drink Bombay martini's but gin sort of came to make me more depressed than usual.
cheap wine: franzia chianti, which the frigging liquor store is usually out of. Santa Marvista Merlot in the 1.5 liter with a 10% discount is better wine, but it can't beat the 5 liters for 10bucks of franzia, but the chianti is the only one that doesn't have a paint thinner taste.
good wine: I don't have much of a palet beyond noting a coke whore girlfriend spent a lot of my money on fussy pussy. I would like to visit st emilion, France again, someday, though.
I don't care for fortified wines or apertiffs.
btw, I like alcohol. Pot was better, but booze is ok too. (-:

I love my beer, but need to back off it some to keep my weight under control. I like most beers, but can't drink much of the very heavy ones. Don't buy Bud products because a member of the Busch family really screwed on of my best friends once in a business deal.
I like decent wine and know enough about it to buy what is good rather than what is popular and overpriced. Usually drink scotch and water when not drinking beer or wine.
Long ago, I worked in the beverage business and could tell many stories about the production of the stuff. Like most things, marketing image is more important than actual product differentiation.

Beer @ anywhere but OK: Fat Tire
Beer @ OK: NewCastle Brown Ale and Boulevard Wheat
Hard stuff: Gentleman Jack (not the standard Jack the double filtered stuff) and Crown Royal on the rocks, with coke, or straight out of the bottle. Whiskey Sour's are good. For some reason I like Long Island Ice Tea's I don't know why. Didn't realize it had so much in it the first time. After 7 of them I figured it out though. I'll drink just about anything.
Wine: J Lohr is the preferred brand, although again I'll drink just about anything.
Here in OK they have the low point beer or the "non-intoxicating beer". Being 6'5" and 260+ it takes a lot of that stuff to make me feel anything other then having to go piss a lot.

Don't have any one favorite, but here are some of my picks...
Blueberry Kool-Aid with vodka and Sprite.
Peach Brandy with vanilla ice cream.
Banana liquer with ice cream and soda.
Green Margaritas with salt
Looooooong Island Tea in a big 'ol goldfish bowl (cracked ice) wi/orange slice
Sherry with marashino cherries and coke.
The old standby rum and coke (spanish golden rum, 150 proof)
Sangria with lots of fruit. (dry if more fruit. sweet if less fruit)

Tomorrow I fly into Seattle, home of the microbrew, does anyone have a name of good porter/stout brew in the area? Last time I was there I go ahold of stuff of Silverdale Brewery called the Demonater (10 or 12% Ach). After two I was feeling it.

For a "dessert" Kahlua and Cream...I can't do sweet drinks other than that...too much of that crap in high school...(hot chocolate/peppermint schnapps at ball games and a lot of lime vodka or sloe gin with Mt. Dew)...
Bud Light gives me a major headache..even if I just drink 1 or 2.
