I was just finished watching the illini vs. arizona game and i still cant beleive how we came back in that game. This is the first time iv watched it since it happend and i got the same feeling i got when they came back. So my adrenaline i flowin right now if only we had the championship. I'll never forget driving home from the bar that night everyone was honking and waving and then heading down to campus. the whole campus was one giant party that was an amazing night.

Sorry for all arizona fans but i just had to talk about it since i just saw it again.

My favorite Illini moment of all time was the 15 pt. comeback vs. Arizona- it was truly magical!!!!!!!

I live in AZ, i like UofA but im not a die hard fan. I was watching the game, then turned it off caz they were winning by a lot. Then i decided to turn it off, and later on sprtscenter i saw the score and was shocked caz i thought they had the game in the bag. If i was a true fan i would have been pissed, but im not so i just laughed at some of my boys who are fans.

They choked and i thought it was funny. I wasnt all that impresed with the illini comeback caz AZ had basically put in their subs and were giving up. Great job by the illini tho for NOT giving up and pulling out that win

So derran williams' threes at the end of the game wernt impressive to you? Il admit arizona folded but the Illini mainly Williams came thru in the clutch with those shots and steals.

i gave them their props tho as i wrapped up my speal. Even tho AZ wasnt trying it still was a great play by the guards to come through and hit those 3's.

i have always liked illinois the best of all the big 10 teams and i was glad to see them do well in BBall, although with Zook there i can no longer root for them in football, unless they are playing O$U ofcourse.

Root for them in football, they need all the help they can get.

I wouldn't know what to do with myself if Illinois actually beat OSU in football.

Watch out - Zook walked into a good situation. They have had a couple of pretty good recruiting classes and could get much better quickly.

I still can't get too worried about Illinois until I see it on the field, plus this year they come to Columbus...meaning automatic win for the Bucks.

Zook has completley changed everything, he's flipped the whole football orginization upside down. I know a full back who isnt gonna have a job anymore cause zooks new offense, I know a DE who had some drinking problems and is now recoverd(16 months clear) that with turner gone will finaly get a chance, There are alot of people i know on that team cause they went to my highschool a couple years ago, i beleive from that team we had 8 people go d-1, 4-5 went to the illini.

Zook is the nation's best recruiter so within a fairly short time he will make Illinois a team with talented players, but he is a terrible gameday coach.

Turner was just the opposite, he was a below average recruiter who was a good offensive coach although he should have ditched the d- coordinator and the strength and conditioning coach. The strength and conditioning coach had the player running miles. instead of running sprints as my friend on the team said " were probley the best cross-country football team in the nation"
