For his success against the Broncos. For the 80's I'm going with Gill Byrd. 90's Mark Bunell based solely on the playoff game. This decade Ray Lewis. If its was a game. Which game? Which player?

Another player is Elvis Grbac. He won his last five games against Denver. Notwithstanding our playoff win in the Revenge Tour.

No, I was talking about player hatin', like you're trying to do. Don't hate me because I'm rich, don't hate me because I'm handsome, don't hate me because my life is the definition of perfect and I've had hundreds if not thousands of beautiful, sexy women, don't even hate me for being the owner of the Denver Broncos.

Like I said, player hatin' is for wannabes.

Without a doubt, when I think of Broncos nemesis, its gotta be Quitterson in the past few years. The only game he is worth a damn is vs the Broncos, otherwise, he is a fairly mediocre hack talent.

In the 90's it had to be Gannon. He just flat out kicked our asses just enough to garner true hatred and despise. One player that I always rooted against personally was Howie Long. He was always a punk.

Of course, in the old days, I can remember hating guys like Plunkett, The Boz, and even Alzado with a passion.

As far as right now, I'd say that I'm not a big fan of Leonard Little, the f***ing criminal...

Chris McAlister. I hope that punk's knee explodes every time he walks on the field. Ray Lewis and Leonard Little can drop dead, too.

That would easy. Brian Griese hands down.

If he wasn't getting arrested for driving under the influence, he was tripping over his own dog and getting mugged by TD's pavement.

But what seals the deal is how badly he choked under pressure. Whether it was throwing ints on a quick 4 yard pass to the hot read, or throwing lame duck balls to lay out his receivers for big hits, to pointing the finger of blame to his receivers, Griese failed miserabley under pressure and to me that's the true measure of a QB. Not how many TDs, passes you throw when it's plain sailing and you're getting max protect with open WRs, but what you do when the chips are down and you're facing a tough defense or a hostile crowd coming from behind.

Currently, gotta be Coach Manning, Ray Ray, Priest, Ricky Williams, and TO. Honorable mention goes to Moss.

Overall in the NFL as of right now, let's just say I'm hoping and praying T.O. sits out the year so I don't have to see nor hear about him for the entire season...that would be sweet IMO.

Where to start….
I’m torn between listing every starter for KC & Oakland, all of the “ME FIRST” guys, and every high-priced bust that Denver has ever signed.
Hypothetically speaking, the most despised players would be a combo of Griese throwing a TD to Moss or Quitterson.

Anybody who takes more time celebrating than playing...

TO, Ray the Thug, "X", etc...

It's sooooo refeshing to see a guy just flip the ball to the ref or just get up and walk back to the huddle. I'm sooooo tired of the spitting, running 40 yards, fake-mooning crap. PLAY THE DAMN GAME!

Agree wholeheartedly. The TV networks keep telling the NFL that there are cracks in the foundation of their popularity. NBA TV ratings are down 30% this year from last year and last year they were down 30% from the previous year. Biggest reason given by fans is that they could no longer relate to the players because of their thug/outlaw/flava clown images.

Rod Woodson deserves an honorable mention. Hated him with B-more and even more so with the Faid. That touchdown pass that the Greasy one coughed up to him on Monday night just about killed me. That's hate with a small dose of respect mixed in.

Outright hate and disrespect is reserved for Ray Lewis, the guy is simply a turd on and off the field.... and Deion Sanders too.

Ooh and can't forget Michael Irvin. Used to hate it when he did the big first down motion after almost every catch he made. Just about make you puke. :TJnPopps:

I'm on a different page than most here. I actually like Ray Lewis. Simply for the way he plays the game.

Not to mention the electricity he brings to the entire Balt stadium. He's like a Gladiator there. I went to the Broncos/ravens game back in '03. Was just amazed how they fed off him.

As far as players "I" despise, I'll go with Sapp and Moss. And that was BEFORE they ended up in oakland.

Almost fitting.

Ernest Byner!!!!!!! :bash:

T.O. & Ray.... arguably the best players in the NFL at there positions. Lets not forget you called it a game. When it all comes down to it, its still just a GAME! Its still about having some fun too. I'm tired of hearing all this crap about the history of the game and the historical image.... Who gives a hairy rats ass?? Its the 21st century and sports have evolved. That evolution is what keeps us glued to the TV. We want to see excitement. The modern day sports fan wants to see amazing catches, long bombs, harder hits, and the celebrations. You have to evolve. ... baseball was a boring sport before the craze of long balls, imagine the NBA without the in your face dunks. The teams playing these guys don't get offended so why is it our business to? T.O.'s Sharpie incident was hilarious. Although I don't agree with having a foreign object on the field of play with him it was still entertaining. Everyone called it disrespectful to the Seahawks.... if it was so damn disrespectful.... then why the hell was Shawn Springs laughing his ass off at it?? And he was the one that got burned! The people want flash. And guys like T.O. and Ray bring that charisma to the stage with almost unequalled talent. These guys fill seats.... and for all those who say they won't go to these games to see these guys... GOOD, because the waiting lists to see them is even longer! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on that adn we all have to go our own way but thats just how I feel about it.

I think my list would be too long but it pretty much reflects what everyone else is thinking, but honestly the one guy who if his gums were on fire I would not pee in his mouth...Tony Lilly, I my mind I still see him 10 yard behind every touchdown in the Redskin SB and during his seasons in D. I did not even make the connection to why he was even playing in Denver...His father is HOFamer Bob Lilly from the Cowboys...Dan Reeves teammate, homeboy whatever...I guess the saying is true "it's who you know"

Wasn't it Detroit who sparked the "big brawl"? Wasn't it Detroit with the great show of sportsmanship last night (every little call----bawl)? Yeah, I can see why attendance go up, not. Why would you want to take your Dad or son to that??

I don't understand why some people claim that they like to see that crapola.

I don't care for the Cowboys but running out to midfield and dancing on the star was plain stupid. Why would you want to piss off 300-1,000 completely drunk guys with rifles in their pick-ups?

As far as the NBA goes, I'd much rather watch a game that is played "skillfully" beneath the rim than see the occasional dunk-in-your-face. In fact, I think it's far more entertaining to watch some stiff, miss his elaborate dunk than to actually complete the play. Nope the spitting, throat slashing, chest pounding, running 40 yards with your arms crossed doesn't make me respect you or enjoy the game one bit. It's retarded!

Toss the ball to the official and act like you knew that you'd complete the play and can do it again.

When the Broncos salute first came out, I thought it was pretty cool but anybody who shows respect for each other and the US military is alright by me. When they started over-using it and failing to perform it properly, they lost me.

Lepsis was the one who took TD out. I was there, Lepsis did not see TD going for the tackle & took out his knee. Had Lepsis looked up & saw that TD had the ball carrier going out of bounds & not dove for the tackle TD would still be running today. I will always blame Lepsis for that, even though it was a rookie (or 2nd year?) mistake.

I have to go back in the day when Kenny Stabler, Fred Biletnikoff (sp?), Cliff Branch and company used to play the Broncos. Always seemed like the were obligated to score at least 40 points against us. And Denver would do their part to help them reach that number.

Nowadays, I'd have to say Ray-Ray and the Ravens. Seems like we always b****up against them.
