Based on your user id name I would say it is a no brainer.

If I were a Donk fan and going old school I would probably go with Steve Watson.

Louis...or Gradishar, of course

I'd tell you Floyd Little, but I wanna be the only one ;D
Seriously, if I was gonna get another of an old school Bronco, it'd be either Charley Johnson #12, Jim Turner #15 or DS #49....just because (besides Little) they're my fave Broncos of all time and everybody and their brother has an Elway already.
My advice would be to be unique in your selection of an old timer.

Louis Wright at #20. I remember when he was a rookie...and the Broncos played in the Hall of Fame game that year. They called the game in the third or fourth quarter becasue of a cloudburst, thunder and lightning storm. funny..I don't remember who won..I think we lost though. But Wright made an impact in that game on kick returns.

Post #53 is his old ioffer site which is no longer functional, but offers you examples of his work.
Post #60 has a posted pick of his Orange crush style TD jersey, amongst others
Post #63 has my Floyd Little jersey that he made for me.
Price was around 50 smacks, S&H included, but that may vary...even if it does, it won't be anywhere near what the "official" product costs.
I'll PM you his email and anyone else who may want it upon request....I'm sure he doesn't want it posted out in the open and why take a chance on ruining a great thing?
I only hope he responds to you guys....after the huge response and all, I'd feel like I let a lot of you down if he had suddenly disappeared or something....as I said, last I heard from him was in late May.

Patrick Scoggin's site is a great peruse for sure. He's my kinda guy with the unbelievable dedication to the minute aspects of team history.
I supplied him with many team highlight videos that he uses to reference different stitching patterns of the sleeve, and jersey manufacturers, etc.
But some of the jersies that he is trying to put off as authentic are just not accurate.
The 1972 Jim Turner jersey is not a real '72 version. In 1972, the red-orange was in full bore effect, and that one he has posted is much more straight orange. There are others too.
But the Riley Odoms one, among several others makes me a jealous fool.
Great job by him overall though!!

Close dude but off by one year.
The Broncos played the Lions in the 1976 HOF game and the Broncos won 10-7.
Also the rain storm game you are thinking of was the 1976 Pittsburgh Steelers versus the College All Stars. I think it was played at Soldier Field the same week of the Broncos Lions HOF game.
I was on the Jersey shore at Long Beach Island and watched both games. They cancelled the Steelers All Stars game in the 2nd half.

Did he have the D.Smith his whole career or just later in it? I can't remember I thought it was just Smith on it back in 86-87, oh well thanks for the head up

It would just say Smith, unless we had some scrub like Elliott Smith on the team as well. Then they had to make it D. Smith.
Same with TJ. It would say T. Jackson because Bernard Jackson was manning Centerfield for the Broncos from 77-80.

Really, if I was gonna start a collection of jerseys, I'd nab a DS#49 next.
The majority of mine however, would probably be in the pre-Elway era...since none of those guys gets any representation like that (jersey I mean)...guys like C. Johnson #12, R. Odoms #88, Upchurch #80 and old High Tops J. Turner #15.
Seriously though, I have a replica road Plummer, this authentic style Floyd Little and a personalized authentic Hogan #11 in the new orange (thanks to Smilin A. for the info)....I think that's quite enough for the football side of things until I hit the lottery or something.
