Nothing formally announced but it has been verified that their is 6-8 moving semi's at the RCA Dome with signs on them that say "Can't Speak To Media"....Also alleged that their are 12 more dispatched to the 56th street practice facility

Colts are in disarray. There is a difference between a bunch of players and a team. How much infighting has already surfaced? This could open up the AFC bigtime.

You would think that with HUGE news like this that someone would have information on it. Nothing on the local papers, news stations websites, or any of the major sprts sites. Amazing that the trucks are hidden from their views.

Actually the only thing verified is that there are moving semi's around the dome with signs saying "Can't talk to the media". All the local radio stations and local TV stations were abuzz with calls and speculation but the Colts haven't said a word and it literally could just be them moving some stuff from the dome. The fact the signs are on the trucks is the only thing making it really weird. But one of the local radio stations I was listening to did send someone down to verify the truck story which they did verify on the air. Nothing more than that at this time.

The weird part about it is that they passed legislation to fund the project with taxes at the end of April so for them to pack up when it looks like the staduim deal is about finished would make little sense but who knows.

wouldnt suprise me , they did it in Baltimore , Al Davis did it to Jokeland , Art Model in Cleveland .....Except in Baltimore it was done in the Middle of the night like a thief ......

I haven't been "duped" by anyone...I clearly stated that nothing was verified except their was semis at the dome with signs on them which happened. Those semis obviously could have been put there by anyone wanting to pull of a joke.

Maybe you can spend a few months whining and petitioning for a socialist program of some sort to help you and others like you with reading comprehension.

Here is the real story....I guess I was done in by some "net pranksters" like the boards brilliant Buttslug informed us...

In an elaborate prank, Emmis-owned 93.1 "Radio Now" apparently placed seven moving vans along Capitol Avenue and along South Street. Stickers were on the windows of the vans saying the drivers could not speak to the media.

The stunt came during the radio show known as 'The Morning Mess".

Listeners were led to believe that the team was packing up and moving out.

The stunt generated numerous calls and e-mails into the RTV6 newsroom from stunned Colts fans, afraid their team was leaving. Others took the hoax in stride.

"Isn't that what radio stations do?" Neil Rafferty said. "They're all looking for an edge over the other. It doesn't bother me. The only thing that really matters is if they are moving or not and if they're not, that's all I care about."

The hoax comes at a time when the future of the team has become a hot potato in the statehouse and on the streets of the surrounding "doughnut" counties.

The governor has spent the last four days trying to convince the public and politicians to support a 1 percent tax to pay for a new stadium.

A spokesperson for the Colts told RTV6 he was upset with the stunt and had already expressed his displeasure with the radio station's general manager.

A press release from the radio station contended this was the station's "unique" way of creating awareness about the Colts plight.
