Drew Rosenhaus was on PTI.

This guy is such a spin doctor it's unreal. He even put's Clinton to shame. Knowitall Hell, he puts Rush to shame.

I'm reminded of Clinton saying Oral Sex was not "sex" as he understood it.

It doesn't reference getting a hummer or shoving a stogie in your intern.

I missed the part about Greg Norman. Isn't he the shark?

Greg Norman is lounging somewhere with gobs of oil being rubbed into his scales by some Polynesian "massuse", beached. He's no shark, at least not anymore.

Considering that in many cultures and biologically, the existence of the hymen is associated with virginity, then it is feasible to argue the act was not sex (not implying she was a virgin, but just providing the association). That being said, Clinton knew what the lawyers were after and he sought to mislead-- lie. However, it is a total joke that after millions of dollars spent and years of investigation, this is what is used to justify an impeachment, yet the acts of Reagans administration (Iran-Contra affair), the Iraq War and the publication of the identity of CIA spook have lead to nothing at white house administration level is truly astonishing.

Clinton's actions were inappropriate, and more women should have been critical of his actions. But it is even more incredible that a congress can in good conscience use that as a justification for impeachment. As to the other administrations, one has already been found wanting by history and the latest is turning in to a very sad joke, especially considering the lives and blood being used to pay for them.

Merlin hit on it best. Clinton knew what they were asking him. His intent was to mislead. Dishonesty under oath is illegal.

n. pl. per·ju·ries

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=perjury
1. Law. The deliberate, willful giving of false, misleading, or incomplete testimony under oath.

It doesn't matter if you lie about what your favorite color is under oath. If you mean to deflect or mislead, you commited perjury. Clinton was guilty.

That said, Republicans weren't simply looking out for the integrity of the nation when Clinton was impeached. Their attacks on Clinton were purely politcally motivated (just as Democrats' defense of him was.) Republicans tried to hate him out of office and it backfired causing the loss of the senate and seats in the house that election year. Americans don't like it when you diss their President, and they don't like when you "play politics."

Democrats tried the same "lets hate him to death" strategy with Bush and Republicans gained seats. I know the left believes that the election was stollen again, or that it was because people hate gays and that's why Bush won, but its not true. Both candidates had the same stance on gay marriage. The reason the left lost was because they were so busy hating Bush, they went soft on a solid agenda. This killed the Republicans in '98 and it killed the Democrats in '04.
