I really don't feel so bad about the nuggs series. I maintained at the time they lost that the SPurs were just a better team and that the nuggs ran into a buzz saw. I'll admit I was very upset that the nuggs did not advance in the playoffs but I hope it tought them a valuable lesson goin into next season which is............the season is 82 FREAKING GAMES, MAKE SURE YOU PLAY HARD IN ALL 82, NOT 40, AND LET SOME ONE ELSE TAKE ON THE BEASTS OF THE WEST IN THE 1st ROUND http://www.allbuffs.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rant.gif
So I wonder who's coming back next season? Russell? Doubt it. Person? I hope so. Vo? I hope not.

I asked a question that I'm not sure got answered. Assuming this is the team to beat. What do you think the Nuggets need for their roster next year to beat them. I think SG is one part of it but I didn't see enough of the games to really know.
Any help?

Vo's gone. That's been sealed since last summer when we were about to dump him only to change our minds after Ginobili re-signed with SA. Of our SG rotation, I want DeMarr and Russell back. The others can leave. Buck wants the mid-level exemption -- way too much. No idea about Person.
I want either Garcia or Fernandez with one pick and then grab some Euro project with the other one (and leave him in Europe). Wouldn't mind trading Nene and Boykins for a SG. If so, then grab Jarrett Jack with our second first round pick and let him learn the ropes.
The Spurs are the class of the NBA. Unfortunately, they're all signed through the next 4 or so years too.

SG is the main thing. A full year of Karl is another.

Thanks!
I think that it has to be more than one player missing for the Nuggets to substantially improve. I looked at one of the playoff games and the Nuggets looked completely out classed by the Spurs. How can one player fix that? I didn't see enough games.
In Denver I remember talking to the scalpers and pretty much being able to get seats anytime I wanted to. I kind of regret not keeping my season's tickets with them but you can't have season's tickets for all five teams in Denver....I mean you can...but...Wow! Seats right off the glass?
I might be able to get a steal on Hockey season's tickets next year.
