Did anyone else notice he was #52 in camp? Did Williams get his wish and get #55 and then Chucky a new #? Anyone know?

The Predator is just happy to have a job. This is more baloney. Williams gets 55, Gold 52, and the rest can just sort it out.

Burns has had 3 different numbers in Denver, and ya don't see him complain. :)
56, 55,51
actually gold didn't complain either, it sounded like Williams pretty much asked him if he wanted it.
At least my jersey is valid. :)

bah! Dwill should have kept #52, he was a pimp in it. but this is no different than when Sharpe switched to #84 & began his reign of terror on the NFL :)

Hmmm, if this is true, then SoCal, Dont buy that new jersey yet!
Can we get some screen grabs of it anyone?

For right now, both DJ and Chewy are wearing number 55.
Ian will get 52, I'm sure. I think Chewy is the odd man out who will be looking for a new number once the turk comes around.

Bending over backwards to kiss little Ian's narrow ass cheeks is a way of life in Denver.

Weird thing is.. D.J. Williams was #55 last year when the rooks held their press conference, then he switched to 52.

55 is the number DJ wanted all along.
Chewy had it last year, so DJ respected that and took what was left: 52
Psssst, Jerry Rice. :hint: :hint: :nudge: nudge:

yeah chucky will be odd man out but for Rice aren't almost all the # in the 80's taken already? This flopping of the number and free agency really burns me sometimes, you buy a jersey of one of your favorite players drop $60 on a screen-printed one and $200 for a authentic then two or three months later he switches numbers or leaves the team, and throwback jerseys are cool but I would not call a Sharpe Ravens jersey or a Boston Charger jersey a throwback, Smith, Nalen, Elam are the only guys on the team that I think will play in Denver for their whole career the only "safe" jersey buy on the team.

I think #89 opened up with House moving back to tackle and #77.
Other than that, I think they're taken for now (before cuts).
Maybe a number in the teens? Anyone know what Jerry's college # was?
Hell with it...give him a symbolic #49 for his career with SF. Or pull a Deion and give him #43 for his age.

Seems to me that DJ wanted 55 in the first place. So it really doesn't seem like a big deal. I'm not waiting too long to get my #55 Williams jersey!
He could wear 08 because he is on the reverse side of his great career
