Somewhat interesting info I heard today...

As you all know, I go to DU. I ran into a buddy of mine today, the only real true hardcore Bronco fan I know here. There's this bar near campus called The Border, anybody who's been around DU has heard of it.

Anyways, long story short, him and some people saw/met Van Pelt there one night last week.

Nothing really happened of note, just thought it was interesting that he was hangin' out around here. He wasn't with any other Broncos, but I heard that he took some of the guys back with him to Plummer's house, so apparently him and Jake are good friends.

How amusing. I still owe a tab at the Border. My buddies ran it up to about 300 bucks. I can't remember the guys name, but he redid the place on my bill. We used to hang out there before it bacame trendy and a stinking DU Dive that caters to Bimbos. It was much cooler as a dive with a couple pool tables and a jukebox.

The Border used to have decent Burritos as well.

Mock owned the Border, I had a running tab. I should probably take care of that bill. Heh. The Owner is a super nice guy, or was. He was a hard worker. We were buddies. If I go try to pay off the tab, he will just laugh, and take the money. Most of the tab was just keg draft in pitchers. We must of bought a thousand pitchers of beer there.

It's rather amusing that people would just say "put it on the tab" when it was my tab. I will have to settle up with the Saloon someday soon when I get to Denver. He didn't really care quite honestly, but I should settle up.

People would just say...put it on the tab....when I wasn't even there...no big deal.

I can't remember the guys name. He was a nice Hispanic guy that was driven. Good location.
