OK Bronco Homers and pessimists. Let's get all this on the record so we people can say I told you so. Make your prediction carefully because you will be held to it.
I think Denver will go 11-5 and win the West. It's simple. Denver has more talent on this team than any other team in the division. Last year they rated 4 in offense 5 in defense and 28 in special teams. They have spent all off season revamping the special teams and it will prove to be the difference maker in 2005.

10-6 wild card go on to beat the living snake crap out of coach manning and the colts on the way to a SB overtime victory over the viqueens. In that game Bells gets 150yds and 2 TDs with the longest one a 69 yard gal sayers type run.
LOL there thats specific enough that if it happens I will be a Orangemane legend ;D

Right now, its too early to tell how the Brownies will pan out but with our schedule being as brutal as it is i think 9-7 is pretty accurate.

the Key is the TE .... for our offense , we need Putz to deliver ...... that happens Jake will have a security blanket ....
Personaly I think we have a pat hand on D , the Browncos have a injury history , but we can rotate these guys in more ........

9-7 with a season split with all three division rivals on the plate. I see a rough end to a hot start this season. But, I could very well see us at 10-6 or as low as 7-9 with a key injury.
Low expectations = a good suprise campaign/ lesser letdown

i dont know why but 13-3 just sounds right. It just feels like the number that belongs in this thread. So i gotta go with my instincts 13-3. (AFC West champs at the least)
19-0
Try as I might, there is no way I look at ANY game and write it in as a loss.
I'm just a bright, bright, sunshiney kind of guy.

Well how does anyone really know how well the teams on our schedule will play? Every year, schedules come out and people rush to judgement based upon how well our opponents played LAST YEAR.

I only see two teams we might have a lot of trouble with, those being the Pats and the Eagles. I think we steamroll over our first 5, like we always do, maybe lose to the eagles (maybe), beat the Pats, and then throw a couple at the end of the season because winning any more won't mathematically help us.

Thats fair Im sure some teams will be a surprise just like every year. Im thinking this team is going to be very good yet playing a tough schedule which means they make the playoffs then go off and run at the SB. Still its hard looking at the schedule to see 13 wins???

With the recent trends in cosmetic surgery becoming so popular, I figured I would go ahead and have orange colored pupil implants done.

9-7 and 2nd or even 3rd in the division (at this point). I will make an edit if after camp Courtney Brown is healthy, Warren is impressing, Watts has done enough to earn that #3 spot, and Jerry Rice isn't a friggin Bronco....it's way too early to predict this stuff, So I'll go cautious and made an ammendment around the last part of August......

Seems as if its like that every year...:pity:
EDIT: My only prediction is that Denver takes the AFC West title...

12-4 AFC West Champions and two home playoff wins (over Indy and NE) and then a victory in SB XL over the Vikings. Amazingly, Three NFC East teams will make the playoffs, as the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants all sweep the Redskins, who finish with a 4-12 record. The Colts, Broncos, Patriots and Ravens all win their respective divisions. The Bills and the Steelers will be the AFC wildcards. In the NFC, the Eagles, Falcons, Seahawks and Vikings will win their divisions, with the Giants and Cowboys as wildcards. We will have the #32 and the # 2 pick in the draft. :homer: i pray to god that this happens

I can't go on the record, sorry. Jump on me if you want, but too much depends on the coaching staff. The players are there it looks like to me, but its up to the coaching staff to make something out of these guys.
If the coaching staff can pull their stuff together, another AFC Championship is right there to grab.
12-4 and a berth in the AFC Championship game if the coaching staff doesn't let the team down.

Pretty good predictions. ALthough I don't see how the Giants are going to make the playoffs...but stranger things have happened

I see a potential of 11 wins (below - dark red are the games I think they just win and blue are the games that should be able to win b/c of location or other). I think 11 is about as much as they could do unless everything goes right for them. It's going to be a tough season for the entire division - hellish schedule.
I don't like them in divisional road games or hosting the Eagles and Ravens.
1 Sun Sep.11 at Miami Dolphins WIN
2 Sun Sep.18 SAN DIEGO at Mile High WIN
3 Mon Sep.26 KANSAS CITY at Mile High WIN
4 Sun Oct. 2 at Jacksonville WIN
5 Sun Oct. 9 WASHINGTON at Mile High WIN
6 Sun Oct.16 NEW ENGLAND at Mile High WIN
7 Sun Oct.23 at New York Giants WIN
8 Sun Oct.30 PHILADELPHIA at Mile High
9 BYE WEEK
10 Sun Nov.13 at Oakland
11 Sun Nov.20 NEW YORK JETS at Mile High WIN
12 Thu Nov.24 at Dallas WIN
13 Sun Dec. 4 at Kansas City
14 Sun Dec.11 BALTIMORE at Mile High
15 Sat Dec.17 at Buffalo WIN
16 Sat Dec.24 OAKLAND at Mile High WIN
17 Sat Dec.31 at San Diego
The only thing with the above is I have issues seeing them going on a 7-0 start, but it would match the hot starts and slow finishes they've had recently.
After the bye week in week 9, they have 8 games and 5 of them are road games. So, they need a hot start with 5 road games in the second half and their final 5 games are against AFC teams, so that could have a lot to do with playoff positioning.

Ok 11-5
Quick start, .500 ball in the middle, and build some toward the end of the season.
host a single playoff game, go to Cinny (win) then goto battle the Colts in Indy for AFC Champ. Where Pryce, Warren and Brown, bump and bruise Payton for the win 17-10. Face Ron Mexico in SB where everyone jumps on Falcons bandwagon and turn into 49ers- Broncos SB where Denver wins 49-13.

you guys are forgetting one thing about having a tough schedual... When you do have a tough schedual you have to bring your A game every week there is no letting up and it becomes a habit and you get better thoughout the season because youv been playing tough opponents. When it gets time for playoffs the competition is the same as during the whole season. We play playoff calibre teams all season and when the playoffs come it wont be as hard to take the game to the next level.

hey im just gettin pumped for the season if the Browncos produce i see a great season ahead of us. We have a real solid team the only thing we realy need is watts and walls stepping up and playing consistent all season if that happens, well then im afraid i must say " super bowl".
And in case your wondering yes i ate my Homer-o's this morning
