listening on espnradio vegas has the over/under number of wins for the broncos this season at 8.5
I wish I was in vegas and could get in on this action... I'll take the over, looks like an easy win....
Chargers & Raiders are at 8
I didn't hear the Chiefs

No, there is some serious disrespect about our DL.
They have no clue that Pryce is back. C. Brown is running and healing....Give me 200 on that bet.
Moss is allready crying his "friend Dante has deserted me". Good Lord, when is Moss going to grow up.
What does Moss expect Cullpepper to say?
"We should of given Randy more support when they found a blunt in his ashtray, when he ran over a traffic coordinator, when he did this and that...he's an honor student...that's why he's with the Raiders..."
Moss has had behavioral problems before he was even drafted or could of been a number one pick.
Now he's turning against his real friends like the spoiled brat that he is. Cullpepper has bigger problems getting Mr. Wizzer Ontario Smith into line to bother with an Oakland Raider. Of course, Moss, in his dysfunctional state, still expects a former QB to stick up for him while he is the one sticking Pep in the back.
It's amazing.

Sorry, Moss pissed me off.
Where do I put some on that. Denver will win at least 9.
I guarantee it.

Arizona was 7 (they will win more than 7 games)
Carolina was 9 (this one seems about right)

Carolina will definitely go over. They've got the second best team in the Conference.

I don't know 8.5 seems about right considering our schedule. I am glad to see that they have adjusted the values of others to reflect the tough schedule as well (San Diego's is brutal). I bet they win 6 maybe 7 this year.
I think 9 is about right. Of course some teams that were good will drop or get injuries etc, so the schedule may not be as hard as it looks. I like our roster from a talent perspective but I worry about the injury proneness (word?) of some key players (Walls, Pryce, Brown, Bell).
Mr sports book, I'll take that bet...

Like if its -155, it means you gotta bet 155 dollars to win 100. Conversely if its +155, your ratio of winning will be 1.55/1 (1 being your bet).

In that case, Vegas is more sure the Broncs will go over than under. And GB for instance, they're hedging either way at -115 over & under, right?
These guys make money for a reason, eh? You have to do a lot of research, examine those schedules carefully to do well. There are some attractive bets out there, though. NE at 11 may be a good one. Detroit at 8.5, Denver at 8.5, Ariaona at 7, Buffalo at 8.5, Houston and Jacksonville.
Looks like they're cutting it close right now on quite a few teams. These odds will change as camp and preseason wear on right? You can expect to see different odds as the season gets closer?

Yeah, most of the time they are doing the job right in those O/U since i end up feeling uneasy about most of those lines. But Denver is attractive at 8.5 although if you look at our schedule, it will be hard for Denver to win more than 9 or 10, but i do think they will get at least 9, just not much more than that. Jacksonville at 8.5 is attractive in the abstract since i havent looked at their schedule, but with that DL they will be in every game. I like Minnesota at 9 because of that defense. Two really good corners, a cream of the crop DL, a good safety. By far the most attractive to me is Tennessee at 6.5. There is no way the Titans will win 7 games and havent even looked at their schedule but i still am very confident in that and will make that bet. Detroit at 8.5 means Vegas thinks that WR corps is going to be the real deal in the actual games as well as on paper. Arizona at 7 is tough for me. If it was 6 id jump on it but at 7 i am hesitant. They have, especially in the last two drafts, pulled in alot of really good talent, but for some reason i cant yet pull the trigger on putting down my money on the Cards going 8-8. I think they will do it, i am just uneasy.
Right now i like St. Louis at 8.5, Denver at 8.5, Minnesota at 9 and i really like Tennessee at 6.5. Before i make my bet though i will shrink this list down to 3 bets or perhaps 2 bets, after looking at the team schedules and taking a much closer look at each team's personnel and the division rivals personnel.

SOCAL'S STONE COLD LOCK- TENNESSEE TITANS UNDER 6.5
WK DATE OPPONENT TICKETS TV TIME (ET)
1 Sun Sep 11 at Pittsburgh LOSS
2 Sun Sep 18 Baltimore COULD GO EITHER WAY (LEANER: LOSS)
3 Sun Sep 25 at St. Louis LOSS
4 Sun Oct 2 Indianapolis LOSS
5 Sun Oct 9 at Houston LOSS
6 Sun Oct 16 Cincinnati COULD GO EITHER WAY

15 Sun Dec 18 Seattle COULD GO EITHER WAY (LEANER: LOSS)
16 Sat Dec 24 at Miami COULD GO EITHER WAY
17 Sun Jan 1 at Jacksonville LOSS
This is stealing. I feel very confident about 7 losses, i feel confident on only 1 win,
the rest are tossups. With leaners added in, 12 likely losses, 1 likely win, 3 tossups. Even with the original ratio of 1-7 that means among the games that could reasonably go either way, tennessee would have to win 6 out of 8, not likely given each one of those teams, outside of the Dolphins have more talent than the Titans and thus the only reason it is somewhat of a tossup would be because Tennessee is at home. I am even bending over backwards by saying that the Baltimore at Tenn game is a tossup primarily because Tenn is at home, even though the Ravens have much more talent.
This is a lock.

Your screwing with my draft pick SoCal.
Don't mess with me.
Funny thing about Vegas, they are not in the business to lose money.
20/1 seems a little loose for Denver.
8.5 is a little loose as well. I think Denver will win at least 9. No respect, no respect at all.
I would be very surprised if Denver doesn't win 9. Very surprised. Our team needs to jell, but we have time. After ripping into the plan, I think we will get 10 under our belt. We will need a few bounces, but our team is markedly better this year, no matter what the pundits think.
Our special teams should be improved, our line is what it is, our DL should be improved, our LB should be improved, I don't think the loss of Kennedy is that big a deal, he couldn't cover a slug. Jake needs to just be jake, and we will be fine. He knows he threw 20 picks. MoC might be a surprise. If not, Tater will carry the rock and Q is back.

or that we have pryce and ellis back healthy (knocking on wood), or that we got 4 browns linemen for less money than we wouldve had to pay hayward.

When the Yankees slumped recently, one book downtown was offering a prop bet on whether they would make the playoffs this year. You could lay -120 saying they would miss the playoffs and they actually had them at even money just to make the playoffs. That's probably free money right there.

It is because the Broncos have 4 east coast trips and historically play poorly when they have to travel that far in the Shanahan era. Miami, Jacksonville, NY Gitants, Buffalo Bills are 4 of the road games.

Of course 2 of those teams suck, 1 will have a first year starter at QB that could go either way, and Jacksonville will be good.

And a good point it is. 2-2 in those four games would be no surprise at all. And if you look at the sched, the Broncs better go 5-3 on the road to make an 11-5 record.

The general public thinks we will have a down year. However, the Broncos down years are mediocre at worst. We've been treading water the last three years coasting to 9, 10, and 10 win seasons. Only an idiot would bet the under and hope for the team's plane to crash.

Bet Miami/Detroit under the number in every game of the series. Doesn't matter the number, they won't be able to hang it low enough.
8:00 PM (501) DETROIT AT (502) MIAMI -4 181.5
Detroit 90 Miami 81 for a total of 171.
An easy cover for the bettors who took the game under 181.5 points, just as predicted.
Check it out. Miami actually shot 48% from the field in this game and they were over 50% all game until they missed their final seven shots. Detroit shot 45% and also tailed off at the end. This tells me these teams were shooting the ball pretty well tonight and they still went well under the number. Expect more of the same.
Keep hammering the under in this series and you'll keep cashing tickets.

Isn't that 5-1 on the NBA Playoffs so far Slappy?

8:00 PM (703) DETROIT AT (704) MIAMI -5 178
Miami 92 Detroit 86 for a total of 178 and a push.
Tough game to push on because the under looked golden all the way. Only a 53 point 4th period screwed it up.
