The official "I hate ClearChannel Radio" thread

It is official. They bought one of the best radio stations in town...the only good one left after they polluted the other one and turned another one into yet another useless pop station. I hate Clear Channel...they are clearly a monopoly...if a station is doing good and competeing with thier channel they buy it and change it. Outlaw country 92.7 was a newer country station that played older stuff. It was getting to be pretty popular in town. Clearchannel owns about 60% of the major media in fargo TV and Radio. And almost everything they own SUCKS. They the natural rival's football games on one of the radio stations, while they play the D3 schools game from across the river while the D1 team is stuck on the worst reception in town. The only good thing they've done is that they've brought in the link to a sports radio station. Anyone else hate clearchannel.

Satellite radio will take over. Clear channel is bribing the FCC to try to get them regulate satelite radio like they do regular radio. That way people would be more reluctant to by it.

Clear Channel Radio? Didn't they drop Howard Stern and lose a bunch of ratings for some sort of moral high ground? Hope it was worth it for them ::)
