This is totally unsolicited.
Taco John the owner of the Mane is moving to a dedicated server, he might need a few dimes.
If you don't trust Payball, you can send all donations to me.
Payball is internet secured.
OK, it's Paypal, not Payball, you can find it on the front page.
It's like the march of dimes. He won't ask for it, and I have asked how much he needs, so I give up, but he's never turned away donations.
Talk amongst yourselves.
He didn't think he would create a monster. Trust me. And he's too proud to beg.
For the sake of his wife, send a few dollars. I figure a 20 from a few should get us up and cooking.
(I was paid for this political announcement)

Be sure to click banners too.

How do the banners work? Does it help if we just click them and immediately hit the back button to return to the Mane? How much is a click worth?

I think Taco gets a few pennies from every click, so in order to make a difference it will take everybody to make a few clicks per day, every day.

About Banners.
Do NOT fall for the "you get a free IPOD or 197" Plasma TV gag. It will just start a survey and before you know it, your inbox is full of spam. You can just click one then close it. (if it will let you)
Bump.....
keep this on the main page (1st page). Maybe make it a sticky.

I agree. This needs to be a sticky just for the thread title reminder alone.

Thanks all... I appreciate it.
Mock's right... I hate to ask. I've always hated that mentality that you see around the Internet where the webmaster is always asking for money. It just seems so insincere to me. I started this place because I love Broncos football and want to share that with others of the same mind. Developing this forum has been a reward to itself, if not an expensive and time consuming one. And just when I get enough money built up to try and do something cool like hats or shirts, something like needing a new server happens to wipe out my OM funds. Or liscences expire for the chat room or message board. Or the domain name comes due. But I just take it in stride and figure any hobby is going to be expensive if you're doing it right, and plug away for the love of it all.
But I *do* appreciate it when someone stops to recognize that it isn't an easy job that I've created for myself. Hobby or not, this thing is a 24 hour a day gig. I love it. I hate it. I wouldn't know what I'd do without it. It's am amazing thing to me, what I've amassed here with the help of 3500 of my closest friends... I hope to be doing it for a long, long, long time.
Thanks all, for the support!

Hey boss you may want to set up a paypal account. It's fast than sending a check and it's easier.

By the way... Remember when we introduced vBookie to the board. Wait until you see what's coming next. It's going to blow people away in its awesomeness. I'm giddy. Can't give out too much just yet on this one... But I might be inclined to drop hints about it if you ever catch me in the chat room... ;)

I dont mean to rain on anyone's parade, but hosting a website doesnt cost more than 40 bucks a month.
By all means though, donate, TJ spends lots of time troubleshooting you bitching complaining whining whores problems.

I don't think that includes licensing fees for the chatroom, and such.

Err.. I will have to wait and see. I don't have an income and with only a little bit of money, and starting a semester of college soon, If i can't get any type of loan, i'll have to dip into my own pocket to pay for college, which might be a little more then i have.
But after everything settles down and i see what's up.. I'll make a donation.
