have got to be the most piss poor bunch of fans I've seen. I mean we have had lots of evidence. Certainly the old dpo board had a few. I lurk over on the Milwaukee paper site sometimes. And I found a new board. Links below.

But consider if the Duke had a year or two left, and we lost at home in the playoffs, and Shanny drafted Aaron Rodgers rather than defense or oline. And, assuming the talent wasn't at oline or def, at 24, someone would've traded up for Aaron Rodgers. But most of the posters seem "ok" with the pick. What a bunch of jerks. They really don't deserve to see a qb like Faver. It's too bad he wasted his career with a team like this.

However, I thought I also recalled an even older packer forum than the milwaukee paper, but I lost all my bookmarks several years ago, and can't find it. If anyone knows of a site where the fans are as outraged by the diss the front office just gave faver, let me know.

I always go to the milwaukee journal Sentnal boards, but I haven't checked out the packer part in a while so I don't know how they feel.

Not really sure what you're saying here Bendog. Do you agree with the pick or not. I went to the link and saw a few upset folks but 'Bruce' nailed my thinking perfectly.

You get the possible #1 player in the draft at #24...Hell, ya, you take him. It's not a diss to Favre at all. We selected Tommy Freakin' Maddox in the first round and John had plenty of tread on the tire left.

It was a solid pick. If we were still at #25 and the Pack somehow passed--I'd be yelling for him with our pick (but I'm not a huge Jake fan and don't see him as the long-term answer for our club).

The Pack needed to make that pick....Favre is finished.

I think faver wants to play this one, and the next one too, if there's a chance at post-season. I'll give bob the boob this much: he knows the oline is done after this year, and gonzo is not going to last through a major rebuild, and dick's gone after this one too, so giving Roth to Mia does make some sense if it's bowl of bust, which for the chefs it is.

However, if I was a packer fan, I'd be pissed that the FO wasn't giving everything to give the best player the stinking franchise EVER had (yeah) the best chance he had to win as many as he chose to play. The guy and the fans deserve that. Wade was a pretty poor coach, but at least he TRIED to give the duke an oline and wrs.

Steeler fans are pretty close. 5 minutes after the steelers lost, people were like, pittsburgh who?
