Here is the Projection from SI and the where they got picked by the Pats
Mankins Projected 3rd picked 1st
Hobbs Projected 5th picked 3rd
Sanders Projected 3rd picked 4th
Claridge Projected UDFA picked 5th
Cassel Projected UDFA picked 7th
Stokes Projected UDFA picked 7th
Its plain to me they didn't by a mag like us fans and follow it! I bet they drafted players that fit their system though and because they won back to back super bowls people will let that slide huh?

You're damn right. We win three SB's out of four years, and I'll let Shanahan's draft record slide.

I agree completely. Also people forget Shanny traded up to draft a guy named DJ WILLIAMS whom Shanny gets absolutely NO CREDIT for drafting but if its someone like Nash etc he gets credit for! wtf!

Big difference here, New England drafts guys higher than their projected seed because they are versitile players who can do a lot of things for a football team. Those guys get taken higher because of that. I give the FO slack on Darient Williams because of that, but the only second use that Paymah and Foxworth have is as special teams gunners, something a lot of undrafted scrubs could have done.
Also, you gotta give NE the benefit of the doubt when they probably have more starting 2nd day picks than any other team in the NFL.

So when we do the samething as them its wrong? They drafted 3 guys that where projected to go undrafted. I already pointed out my feelings about our CB's in SoCal's grades.
