It seems there are some guys who went undrafted that we should go after. Browner and Shazor come to mind right off the bat, but I'm sure there are others. Who do you want to see signed in the next couple of days?

Brandon Browner has Lenny Walls' frame but I wonder if he will be interested in going to Denver with the cornerback situation.

What about George Gause?

Bucky Babcock G Illinois (didnt give a sack in 2 seasons i believe)
Ernest Shazor SS Michigan
Brandon Browner FS Oregon St.
George Gause DE South Carolina
C.J. Brooks G Maryland
Michael Munoz T Tennessee
Ben Wilkerson C LSU
Derek Wake OLB Penn St.
Bryan Randle WR/QB Virginia Tech
Simon Fraser DE Ohio St.
Tommy Manus WR Morgan St.

Browner left early too, must really sting not being drafted. I'd like to see him come in and get some time at safety as well as corner for us. If we grab him and Shazor we'd effectively be replacing Paymah and Foxworth with real 3rd round talents, so this draft would look a whole lot better.

LOL, Drek...love your humor--just so sorry that it's the truth!

Add these:

Josh Davis, WR Marshall
Uriah Moenoa , OL Hawaii
Joe Vaughn, C Kansas

Of course NONE of them were drafted, which means MAYBE they don't have what it takes to make it in the NFL. Shazor maybe doesn't have the speed it takes. Browner is inexperienced, and would be a project. Certainly NO teams thought they were a third round pick, so you can't blame the Broncos for passing up on them. Everyone else did too.

Broncos are always active in UDFA after the draft. Signing a few of these could help . Id like to see the WR corps improved. RS is getting older, and has slowed down some. Add in a few of the better Offensive lineman and we have definitely improved ourselves. ???

Maybe he is boys with LeSueur... they can be our Michigan Safety connection in a few years. That would be sweet.

I'm really surprised that no one picked up Matt Payne. We should bring him in and see what he can do. It wouldn't hurt.

I think thats because Payne is only halfway to being good as either a kicker or a punter. He'll need to choose one (apparently kicker, since thats what everyone lists him as), and will take a lot of work by the signing team to make him NFL ready for either job. Should be able to boom some kickoffs in the meantime, but you don't draft a special teams player who hasn't even clearly established which position he'll play.

I was thinking Browner as a safety prospect. We should get Gause in here immediately. He's freakishly strong, and has a ton of upside. I think Shazor is going to have a lot of pursuers, and will e hard to sign.

A couple of offensive skill guys would be nice.

All true, but how is that any different than the kicker we picked? At least Payne won honors in what he did and holds several special teams records for the division. The guy we drafted is a totall unknown and will require the same development.

Shazor would be a great addition but some how i feel Coyer would try to make him a SLB cause of his 6-4 239 lb frame & that he's a semi liability in pass coverage but hits like a mack truck
Gause is another that would be great to bring in for the pass rush but if he beat out a couple of other DE's Broncos brought in it'd make em look real bad(the so called Broncos Braintrust i mean)
