Some of the steam is off, but I like Draft Day. Big Hair will be in full force, he's allready talking faster than Hanoi Jane.

I swear that guy is going to have a heart attack. The Swami should be out in full force and it will be interesting to see if Denver can get at least ONE contributor in several need positions.

Mock is very interested to see what his HornHeads can capture at 7 and 18. If they move up when it appears two QB's will be taken early, I will go Postal.

If Mike Williams is there at 7 I take him and run to the bank.

Looks like Denver will take a back seat this year, but I agree that the trade will work out. I hope they wiggle a bit today. Washinton might very well hand us a top 5 pick next year.

yes, this year, seems to be the year that shanny is gonna let things play out(just let the players come to him) , next year when we relieve some cap room, then the draft will be really fun to watch for us.

im glad for it too caz this draft is weak!!

Yup, should be an interesting day since there are not as many clear-cut favorites after the top 15 picks or so. Will we see some more last minute trading? Should be interesting.
I wonder if Alex Smith will indeed be the top dog this year. That might be the biggest question of the first hour...

Its all about the ratings! We need to create a drinking game to the draft...

Everytime you see Kiper's hair, that's a drink.
Everytime you see a so-called expert dismiss a pick, that's a drink.
Everytime Philly and Jets fan boo, that's a drink
Everytime Tagliabue jumps to the podium, that's a drink...

A total blood transfusion may be needed by the end of the first 10 picks...

Here are some more rules

Everytime Tags falsly comes to the podium, that's a drink
Everytime Minnesota screws up their selection, that's a double
Everytime the draft ticker fades away the PICK BEFORE the one you wanted to see, that's a drink

The best part is Meathead doesn't even milk his fifteen minutes to see if someone will give him an offer he can't refuse. Nope, two minutes off the clock and he takes another wideout, despite glaring needs practically everywhere else.

Must be great to know that no matter what you do, you won't be fired.

I would love to see the Chiefs draft Johnson. I think he too soft to be a really good NFL player. LBs need to be fierce. Johnson is skilled, but he's soft.

Perfect for the Chiefs.

These Jonathan Vilma types prefer to play linebacker like a running back. Shedding blocks isn't part of the job description. That's lineman work.
