2 (56) Corey Webster CB LSU

3 (76) Terrance Murphy WR/KR Texas A & M

3 (97) Dan Buenning Wisconsin G

3 (101) Sean Considine S Iowa

6 (200) Alex Haynes RB Central Florida

7 (239) Bo Scaife TE Texas

The broncos will take the best player available with their first pick in round 2. According to my calculations, that will be Corey Webster. I've seen some with a late first round grade on this guy. We'll get our nickel corner and be very happy.

With our first pick in the second round, Terrance Murphy takes care of two needs. He's an outstanding returner, has speed that kills, and many think he's a top 5 receiver that just didn't get many balls at A & M. Whether we get him or not, he's going to have a nice NFL career.

Dan Buenning will be the 2nd of our 3rd round picks. He's a 4 year starter in a big time program. Reminds me of Dan Neil who started 4 years at Texas when he came out. He's much bigger, but both played and started 4 years in major conferences. He'll give us many solid years on the line.

Sean Considine is one of the most underrated guys in this draft. We need safety depth and Sean will have a year to groom under Lynch and ferguson. Will help on special teams from day 1.

Alex Haynes is my sleeper rb pick that we get every year. He's a 4 year starter at Central Florida and owns all the school records. Rushed for 3,356 yards. Haynes caught 88 career passes. He scored 27 touchdowns and posted 16 100-yard games. He runs a 4.5 40!

Bo Scaife is a talented te that Shanny knows a lot about from his son Kyle playing with him. He has lots of upside and a good value pick in round 7. Gives us some much needed depth to develop

Webster won't get past the 15th pick in the second- I'll put 500 vbucks on it.

With the year he had in 2004, Webster will never go in the first round. He was great in 2003, but had a major drop in play in 2004

Kansas - this is one of the more realistic drafts I have seen from posters. Nice job and I am glad you have given up on Sproles as a necessity.

I suspect we will all be hunting for a cold PBR by the end of the day. :)

I love the first two picks! Everything looks great but I would rather have Atogwe at FS. Im not sure where he is predicted to go though.

Thanks for the nice comments Big Guy. Sproles is too much like Griffin. If we didn't have him, I would have loved to take Sproles. Problem is, he's going in round 4 or 5 in my opinion, and we don't have picks there unless we trade up.
