who does everyone root for? obviously i think that there will be alot of CU fans, but i'm interested in hearing about people's teams. my teams are Army, they play 1/2 hour from my house and i try to go to about 4 games a year, including air force when home, and Miami. i remember when CP was drafted by us. i was the happiest guy in the world, my favorite college player going to my favorite pro team. same (kind of) with DJ this year. but yeah, Army and Miami. i cover the whole spectrum. the team that had the longest losing streak in the last few years and the team who had the longest winning streak in the last few years.

Arkansas Razorbacks in basketball, football, baseball, and track.
Arkansas men's track and field is the most dominating dynasty in college sports history--39 national championships since 1984, including numerous triple crowns (winning the cross-country, indoor, and outdoor national championships in the same year). The Razorbacks have the NCAA all-sports record for consecutive national championships (UofA indoor track, 12 consecutive championships - 1984-95).

It does not officially go into effect until August. It is a welcome change though, it will do a lot of good things...I have to get some new gear though. They also have to change a lot of stuff around campus.

I graduated from CSU, took graduate study at C-U and really like Notre Dame...go figure.
I know a lot of folks hate ND, but I admire their academic requirements for their athletes...as well as all students for that matter.
Besides...therre's almost no better college atmosphere than South Bend..and I am talking college atmosphere, not bar crawls.
Love CSU & C-U of course...hard for me to choose when the game is played.

I'm a University of Tennessee graduate and a huge fan of the Vols in all sports. I have a graduate degree from University of Northern Colorado, and so I pull for the Bears too. As for a larger in-state school, I like CSU the best.

Division I-Kansas State (all sports)
Division II-Washburn University here in Topeka. I try to go to some of their games when they don't conflict with K-State's home schedule.
I've always enjoyed the tradition of Notre Dame football and still follow them to a degree. However, if they ever play K-State, I'm a Wildcat all the way.

I have been fortunate enough to watch a lot of college games in person at around 75 different stadiums. The list of team I like is much longer than the list of teams I dislike.
In terms of the crowds at games, the small colleges are the best, but of the major conferences the fans at the SEC and Big 10 games are by far the most knowlegable and enthusiastic.
I do think I can claim to be the only person on the planet that likes all three major Florida teams. Have had a GREAT time ate each.

I haven't heard of any of them not qualifying yet...... I know of the two 5 star guys Bowman is in and Lucky is looking very good. (his core GPA is way up so his test scores will not have to be as high).
Several of the Juco guys are already participating and a couple look to have secured starting spots.... Zac Taylor at QB and 4 star Steve Octavian at LB.
I'm sure they will have one or two not qualify, but not any more than most programs......

Zac Taylor should kick ass for NU this year, I saw the stats from the red/white game and he lit em up real good. I think this is the year Callahan makes us competitive because he's got players for his system.

The thing about Spring games/scrimmages is that it's really hard to tell if, in this particular case, the O is that great or the D is really far behind. I remember Barnett stating that the D, prior to 2003, was the best that he had in his tim in Boulder due to the play in spring. Bad Call on that one coach.

True, but either way those stats were awesome and I think he'll do well. He may have growing pains but the potential is there.

We still have a ton of question marks this year, but I think Taylor will do a good job. We should win a couple more games this year by just not throwing five interceptions a game. I don't get to excited about beating up the JV team, but he was throwing well. If he catches on fast and Ross plays at the level he did last year, we have a shot in the very weak North.
