Alright, I assume everyone here has something to play music. So, what is the one song that you have stored on it that is an embarrasing song but you can't help but listening to it? A song your buddies would never let you live it down if they found out....
My Example, an Enya song Orinco Flow (the sail away song)

There's a song in the Bon Jovi's only album as a soloist that I love. It's called Janie don't take your love to town. Just don't tell anyone :)

I have no shame honestly. I will listen to anything in front of anybody. Sometimes I pop in some Alizee (a French pop singer) when I'm riding around with my metal head buddies. If they try to give me flack about it I just show them one of her videos. She is simply one of if not the hottest females to walk the planet. After that they will sometimes even request me to throw in some Alizee. I sh!t you not. If you don't care there is no shame to be had. One CD I would never listen to in front of my friends is Jagged Little Pill. I can't bring myself to listen to it alone and haven't even put it in for around 3-5 years. But I just can't get rid of it. Pretty weird eh? Yeah, I don't understand it either.

It's not necessarily shame... It's the mere concept of liking music that is evidently cheap or low quality. And I honestly think it happens to everybody. That's why they're called hooks.

I'm with Clean I'll throw in some Mandy every now and then.
I have a question for all you IPOD/MP3 guys. Which is better do I want to buy an IPOD or just your standard MP3 player? Is there a difference? Are they the same thing just different brands or is there more to it than that? Which is better in your opinion? Any help will be rewarded with rep. thanks

i had a Rio mp3 and it just randomly stopped playing songs. it was really weird. now i have an iPod and i like it, but i have heard of people whose iPods died because "they were charging them during a thunderstorm." (what the guy who they brought it to told them). the problem with the iPod is that it is more expensive. the rio was $200 and held 5,000 songs. my ipod mini was $200 but holds 1,000 songs. but i don't have 1000 yet so i don't give a rat's ass.

this is a good thread...i am a music freak. I've got a 40 gig ipod and its full...my most embarrasing selections are:
an Elton John Greatest hits album
I think someone mentioned ELO
and I apparently did acid and was into the polyphonic spree for a little while.
other than that, I have freakin sweet taste in music.

I have a ton of potentially embarrassing songs that I've downloaded over the years. When they're free it's easy to download something cheesy that you wouldn't buy.
The worst offender in my collection is probably Hanson's Mmmbop.

Nothing wrong with Enya. Most stoners I know listen to Enya, male or female. Highly soothing and mellow for a pothead.
I dont have embarrassing songs. Or at least, they aren't embarrassing to me to listen to. Mostly because I dont give a f*ck what people think of me, I do what I enjoy doing and I listen to what I enjoy listening too.
However, I do have songs that you might find embarrassing were they on your MP3 player. From a variety of categories. From the glam band days and Poison, Cinderella, Warrant, etc all the way back to "Tears of a Clown" by Smokey Robinson. Phil Collins is big on my list of guys I think were way ahead of the curve and yes I have Biz Markee "Oh Baby You! You got what I need!" Ha! Cracks me up everytime. I got a boatload of Enya and a lot of Gaelic folk music with fiddles and 'pipes. Pub music ya know, like you would find in a Scottish or Irish traditional pub. I sir, even have Madonna on my MP3 player. Prince too, and Cyndi Lauper and oh yeah, Tina Turner baby. Whats love got to do, got to do with it, whats love, but a second hand emotion. Styx, lots of people might be embarrassed about Styx, but not I said the fly.
As it is, to each their own. Id be embarrassed to have the Pie Tasters on my MP3 player but my good friend Hogan11 loves that band and Im sure he wouldnt be embarrassed to have them. Dont knock Enya either punk.

If all you listened to was Hillary Duff, Creed and things of that nature I could see your point. My friends don't judge me for listening to a few pop songs here and there.

I've got you all beat. Remember the Popeye movie, when Olive Oyl sang "He Needs Me". That's my song. I down loaded it off Lime Wire.
I have some others I down loaded from Lime Wire.
Just A Gigalo- David Lee Roth
When You're Smiling- Louie Prima
You Give me Fever- Peggy Lee
I Love LA- Randy Newman
Gonna Fly Now- Rocky soundtrack
I Put a Spell on You- Screamin Jay Hawkins
The A-Team theme song
The Dukes of Hazzard theme song
The Girl from Ipanema- Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto
Yep, I've got some weird stuff in my iTunes. Oh, and a few Queen songs.
I have a 20 gig iPOD. I have about 450 songs right now. I have the Imperial March, corny I know, but I'm a Star Wars geek :yep:

i just remembered that i have 9 different NFL Primetime themes on my iPod. wow...i'm cool. ::) but those themes are so cool. i imagine Bell running down the sideline and berman going "He could. go. all. the. way. TOUCHDOWN!!!" i love those themes. i also have the Flyers' goal horn and song (song 2 by blur) on it. i get goosebumps hearing that.
