Saturday night, December 17th live on ESPN...Denver travels to Buffalo. This is a great opportunity for all of us northeastern region Bronco fans to get together. An all day party BEFORE the game...and ya won't even have to miss any of the Sunday games.

I brought this up on the BroncosFreak board as well, but the more Denver fans the better. There are quite a few who say they are making the trip. I know Orchard Park quite well as I'm originally from Western PA and preferred traveling to Buffalo rather than Cleveland or Pittsburgh. The fans are great and the stadium is HUGE. I think currently 2nd biggest in the NFL behind Washington. It's easy to get around and is very close to Niagara Falls if ya haven't ever been there. The Falls in december are awesome. If ya bring a lady friend, they love the frozen mist hanging from the trees and the x-mas lights. Anyone interested in getting with our group can PM me and I'll get ya my email/phone #.

Me and my Brother (bills fan) are wanting to go, We started crunching some numbers and

For flying it would be about $400 PER PERSON.

Driving would be about $380 per person.

Anyone have advice? Weather to fly/drive or discounts or anything like that? We'd appericate it.

I seen some tickets on ebay already. We are in question to buy them now or wait a little longer?

I seen 2 tickets in the endzone (row 3) for $124!

I kinda want to be on the side though, and i haven't seen anything yet.

Maybe if anyone in Buffalo can find us some deals, i'd appericate it.

I was checking out hotels and airfare today, too...Expedia offers some flights/hotel package deals for about the same price as just the airfare on Northwest or United. (at $200+savings...)

Who's gonna represent?

Not me, that's for sure. I've had nothing but bad experiences when it comes to Bills fans @ The Ralph.....so much so that I absolutely refuse to go there, regardless of the situation.

I'll pass and go to San Diego instead.

hmmm, I like it there quite a bit, but I know what yer talking about. Now my friends who are Jets and Dolphins fans have had their troubles, but at the Broncos game in 97, everyone was real cool. we got some crap about Napoleon running all over us the week before, but no more than the typical home crowd taunting/ribbing.

There is a community college behind the stadium that is easy to get into and parking is cheaper. The tailgating won't be as intense since we won't be in with the HUGE parking crowd, but it's not a bad spot at all to do something. We will walk thru the bigger lot to get to the stadium. There is a field for us to play ball if we need to right next to the lots. This is where I usually park cuz ya can jump off the highway and slip behind the mall to avoid the main traffic. Once off the exit, it only takes me @ 15 minutes TOPS to get into the lot and it's @3-4 miles. I've been to about 20 games there.

I recommend flying. Ya never know what the weather will bring thru PA and NY and it'd be easier not to have to worry about it. PLUS, it'd give ya more time to see the Falls, etc. Once ya hit the PA mountains, the weather changes drastically. One way to consider would be thru Pittsburgh up thru Erie and across the NY thruway...if ya do drive. This way ya avoid the mountains for the most part and it covers major highways rather than smaller local routes. PM me if ya want more secific info.

You can usually get tickets straight from the team when they go on sale. They don't sell out like they used to. I was able to get tix to the Steelers game in October last year. However, it is a night game on TV, so tix may be in demand. I say if ya dont' necessarily want to site there...why pay extra? The prices should be the same on ebay if ya can't get them from the team. I usually sit upper deck 20 yard line or lower level corner of endzone about 20 rows up. I am a big believer that you can be TOO close. Ya lose depth perception and too mnay things get in the way on the field.

I must say now that my resources will probably be limited. I have a drive across state of PA for xmas at the folks carting the wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs, luggage and gifts in a Chevy Blazer. If necessary, I can rent a grill for Saturday, but if a local or 2 can bring one, that would be great.

If schedules work out, 2-3 of my fellow Bronco fan friends (in B-more, Hershey and richmond VA) will be there as well. They are pondering coming home before x-mas instead of after. This could be pretty big.

Uh oh GSRelyea. This is how it all starts man. You are in danger of becoming a tailgate junkie. You are already talking about lugging a BBQ, bunch of stuff, and friends on a 3 hour drive. Sounds like the Buffalo tailgate is underway!

Little bit of advice. Get yourself a vehicle now and get it over with! Infact my friends who helped me build the bus are talking about rolling out a fleet of Broncos style VW classics.

The Broncos lot out in Denver has a handful of Broncos tailgating vehicles but I think it would be great to see dozens and dozens of them out there!

We need someone on the East Coast to represent when we can't make it out there! :)

Something like this would be easy to fix up. Get an old style Orange Crush tire cover (I've seen some around town), a couple old school logos on the outside, a quick tweaking of the stereo system, maybe a small slide out BBQ system (stainless), power inverter, beef up the battery systems, oil change/tune up......oh maybe a flag pole system to raise our colors........and any Broncos fan could be in business!

I am but a peon who basks in your glow. Ya'll got skills when it comes to this tailgating thing.

Those 3 in 137 look perfect. Hope they're not TOO low. Have to do some research first. Lemme know if a buch of us wanna eat up the 9 tix in 122. If so, I'll grab 3 or 4 sp some of us are together. Thanx for the heads up.

Ah there ya go. Coors Light bus! That will work. B-love has some bar in NY that a friend of his owns that we are probably going to park at for a day and then go to the game the following day. It would be a honor to park next to the Coors Light bus. :alky:

Section 137
Row 7
2 tickets
Price $50.00 each

It came up to about $110.

All i'm waiting for is confirmed by the seller.

It also says i won't receive the items 7 days before the start of the regular season.

Now, I have to figure out a plan on plane, hotel and rental car.

www.stubhub.com has very reasonable tickets for this game, 115 for lower level 20 yard line, and I think 85 will get you lower level endzone. It is crazy how much cheaper the Bills tickets are v.s the Giants ones.

Hey guys I'm looking to head up to that Buffalo game myself. Nothing like driving in the snowy New York Tru-way System to fulfill your football desires. I might just get one of those bus travbel tickets they are going for about 100 bucks. If there's going to be a big tailgating going on, on Saturday maybe I'll just drive and find a hotel. Got a little time to decide. Anyway See you all up there I hope

Could anyone find a great deal for flying from Orlando to Buffalo?

http://jetblue.com (Bills Sponser)

JetBlue has some cheap tickets ($114 a person, round trip), but it ended at midnight, So now i'm wondering how much the tickets will be with out the sale.

I added it up and it would cost like $580 for flying and driving. That includes Flight, Rental Car, and Hotel. Driving would come out more expensive (Food) and straining since it's like a 20 hour drive.

We're hoping some cheap tickets hit the market soon.

If you find any, Please post them ASAP.

I assume you are talking about priceline right? If you put in a "name your own price" you are locked into what ever they find for you, ie you could be getting some pretty early/late flight times. I have never used it, but that is what I have been told.

I haven't heard anything. I'm more worried about snowballs than anything else. I was in Indy and sat next to the biggest drunk in Indiana for the first Indy-Broncos playoff game in '04. '27atwater' form Orangemane has been to a number of games in Buffalo. He didn't say anything about the fans. He's the best person I know to ask.

If you didn't already know, buffalobills.com has a interactive seating chart so you can you see what kind of view you will have from your section. They usaually show views form the 10th and 30th rows for the 100 level.

The fans can be brutal, but I gotta say they are only THAT BAD when they play NYJ or Miami. Then the stadium is 1/3 empty by halftime...literally. All you see is neon green POLICE jackets swarming on different parts of the stadium throughout the game. My buddy got punched in the pissa cuz a drunk guy thought he cut him in line. But again, mostly just against those 2. I've been there for many games w/o any problems. The worst I got was some Napoleon Kauffman jabs cuz it was 2 weeks after he ran all over us during one of our SB years.

I've seen NE, KC, Jax in playoffs, Denver, Pittsburgh last year, detroit, indy twice, miami, NYJ twice among others. I do gotta say, it is the most fun place to watch a game and tailgate that I've been to.

So are we gonna get something going with BroncosFreak and OrangeMane members tailgating???? We can park cheap at the Community College behind the big lot. It's cheap and has plenty of room. A handful of "freaks" say they are making the trip up. Some of my friends from back home are going up too. We can have a nice tailgate if we all get together. Lemme know!!!

We got Section 137 Row 7.

I'm looking at the seating chart and you'll be sitting across from us.

I've read stories about bills fans being rowdy, what about you?

I'm in section 137 row 9, see you there!

And oh yeah, Bills fans can be rowdy, just keep it in check until you're in a moving vehicle.

I'm gonna call the community college to see what time that lot will open up. If it's not until 4...there is a mall with a restaurant/bar about 1 mile from the stadium if ya'll wanted to hang out before 4. If not, I may just take the wife to the Falls for the afternoon. I'll try to get my tix in section 137 as well. I was trying to wait until the Bills kept losing to see if prices would drop. May as well buy 'em now.

I'll get more specific directions soon, but when ya come off of the Orchard Park exit from the thruway, ya turn left toward the stadium. Turn right JUST BEFORE the mall and go all the way down until you see a walmart. Turn left at the walmart (90 degree turn, not the 45degree). The lot will be @ 1-2 miles on your left for the community college.

I think a couple guys from around here are bringing RVs. Don't they have a cash RV lot by the stadium? 1 mile away is a long way away for a tailgate!

Here is a map. http://www.ralphwilsonstadium.com/facility/parking.htm

oh ok...gotcha Well before I'm fully committed with plane ticket in hand I'm just trying to help out where I can. I guess BroncoBum is driving his rig out there. Any freaks bringing an RV? truck etc?

Is this lot a cash lot atwater? I can hit up some of the guys from joes website... www.tailgating.com (click on parking lots).

Those are all the tailgates that Joe has linked up and we usually help one another out while we are they are on the road visiting one anothers stadiums. I'm sure there are a couple buffalso bills tailgate linked up there.

I want to meet this guy. http://www.madbbs.com/users/philster/Pinto.htm

The RV was just booked, we are driving out on Friday afternoon, and will be hitting Casino Niagara on Friday night, then heading to the stadium on Saturday. Don't care where we park it, whatever lot everybody agrees on then we will be there. Wonder if they will mind if I paint it orange?? Since the East Coast Organe Force 2 is not around yet, figured an RV will come in handy. We will have a grill with us, lots of beer, and lots of food. W/ the Bum working the grill and a lot of Bronco fans representing we will have a pretty kick a$$ tailgate!!!

I'm in I am taking a bus trip up unfortunatly with a bunch of Buffulo fans I bet according to my information the parking won't even be open till around 4 which if that's true that freaking sucks. Could have went all day at another Broncos Tailgate. Anyway I think I'm going to look for some lower level seating as right now I'm sitting in higher nosebleed 50 yard line. If any of you want to try and get a hold of me of where you want to meet in the parking lot and set up another sea of Orange let me know. I'm good to go.

Just got off the phone with parking people. They have 2 RV lots, they fill lot 6 first then lot 14 after that. I guess they open lots on Fridays before the games for the RV's and charge people $30 for the weekend. (which seems really cheap) Looks like Lot #9 (general parking) is very close to both Rv lots. Actually the set up looks very similar to Giants stadium for those who were at that tailgate. We will aim for getting into lot 6 as it is closer to the stadium and I am very lazy. Weekend? No kidding? Hmm never thought about needing a shower at Mile High? Forget the showers we still need some kinda landmark where the 50 yard line was at the old stadium. Much more valuable than a shower. Only question is what would be the best symbol to put there? Too many players put it all on the line on that field and too many Broncos fans have had their ashes spread on that hallowed ground for there not to be something that symbolizes where BroncoMania was born.

I thought this was Broncos Country? America has the white house:USA: ? Denver needs a Mile High Stadium landmark!:Broncos:

Old Comiskey Park, home of the Chicago White Sox from around 1908 - 1991, became a parking lot after they tore it down. In memory of the old park, they used brown stone to represent the area around home plate and still have homeplate encased in concrete with the batters boxes and the foul lines painted in white.

For Mile High, maybe they can run the 50-yard line stripe across the area. Another idea would be to paint the endzones like they were at old Mile High and place the uprights behind the endzone. Then, you could run the sidelines between the endzones and still mark the 50-yard line in rememberance.

This is a link to the hotel we booked, http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/bufct it is about 8 miles from Ralph Wilson Stadium. It is also a couple of miles from downtown Buffalo, about 30 miles from Niagara Falls/Casino Niagara and close to the airport as well. It is just off of I-90 (very easy to find). All of the hotels in Orchard Park are booked, so if anyone is looking for rooms, I would jump on this quickly. There are also 2 Holiday Inns by the airport (about 15 miles from stadium) that have rooms available.

Woooooooooooooo look out Buffalo, New York The Disco Man is on the way! It will be an all night party...I'm going to ride a keg of beer over the falls!

If Disco rides a keg over the falls, are there any predictions on how long it will take for him to hit bottom?

Ok here goes............. This is sorta like the story of " If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there, does it make a sound?".

I guess it would take between 5..........10.........or 15 seconds for him to hit bottom. And if we can't see him hit bottom, does he make a sound?:dunk:

You said you were drinking the keg, Disco. Divide the total ounces in the keg by 12 and that will give you the total amount of beers drank. I for myself can't wait to see that.:blowhorn:

US Kegs are 15.5 gallons (1984 ounces) 1984 / 12 = 165.33 beers which equals one very drunk disco man.

Okay for the record you all have way to much time or your hands to be determining the amount of gallons, ounces, actual beers in a whole keg. Just drink it and be Larry, Curly, or even Mo. Now I would say the 5, 10, 15 beers for Disco but after the Meadowlands I know it will probably double or maybe even triple that. It's going to be great seeing you guys again. The bus for the east coast is sounding like a superb idea just don't ask me for directions. GET A GPS!!! . Anyway only a week and a half away. If I didn't have a ticket and a way up already I have you pick me up in Syracuse GS. Even though I'd have to explain the 5, 10, 15 minute way to pick me up from the thruway. See you all up there Saturday afternoon. Grrr damn bus not leaving till almost noon.

Thought it was common knowledge........Too bad NY put those crazy deposit laws on kegs last year, otherwise it would have been a much easier way to bring all of the beer out there.

We will be in Lot 6- it is an RV/Bus only lot. Best bet for everyone in cars is to park in lot #9 which is across the street. I just talked to the Heineken people, they will be set up in Lot 4 (which is next to the RV lot) that is a suite lot/ just for suite owners. They will have a bunch of kegs, and giveaways if anyone wants to swing over there it will be very close. Don't know exaclty what the RV looks like as I am picking it up Friday morning. It is a 31' rv and we will have Bronco flags flying and plenty of orange and blue to make it as easy to find as possible. PM me if you want to exchange cell phone #'s.

We are going to try and bring enough dogs, burgers & wings for everyone. If there is otherthings (chips, salads ect) that any of you want to bring that would be great as well. As far as beer goes, there are some coors/ heineken people coming with me and they will bringing a good amount of beer, but with a group this big, there is never enough. So if you bring beer that would be great, and if you could make it anything but anheuser-busch (bud, bud light, michelobe) that would be even better, I know they will be taking some pictures to put on various websites and cannot use pictures of people with beer they do not sell. DIRECTIONS FROM THE NY STATE THRUWAY:

take the Orchard Park exit off of the thruway and turn left after the toll booths. Stay straight for a couple of lights and turn right JUST before the big Mall. Ya can't miss it. Go past the mall for a mile or so and you will come to an intersection which has about 5 roads or so. It's not yer typical 4 stop intersection. One of those roads to the left is Abbott Road/Jim Kelly Blvd. Take that road and it will bring you right between lots 9 and 6. Cars in 9, RVs in 6 and we're good to go.

Again, I always go into that mall to get situated, etc. prior, so if anyone wants to meet up there and caravan in, some of ya have my cel and others can PM me for it.

next year too cuz my folks 1 hour from pitt AND clev...right in the middle. you all will definitely have to come back out to one of those next year. I'm thinking the pitt one may be a monday nighter. It's also looking like the other away opponent will be NE, which is also doable.

Out here in Colrado we just have snow.:~ohyah!:

Living in Chicago, I can tell you that Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan (the "snow belt") can get anywhere from 8 to 15 inches when Chicago only gets 3 inches of snow because they're on the east side of Lake Michigan. Hell, they can get 5 to 8 inches of snow when it's bone dry in Chicago. Chicago to Northwest Indiana is only 40 miles away from each other. I hope this answers your question about lake-effect snow.

Are you guys tailgating on Friday too. My wife and I will definitely be there Saturday. What time is everyone starting Saturday? This is going to be great. I'm so used to going to road games and not meeting any other Broncos fans (although there's always some in the stands.)

Very understandable bum...That was the reason for me deciding not to drive of1 to SD. Too many issues with the bus now and the weather is probably going to suck right around Christmas all the way thru Colorado and New Mexico on our way to SD.

The weather is definetly going to be rought from Indiana to Buffalo. I'm just hoping the flights will be ok getting in and out of there at this point.

Enjoy the holidays bum!

Thanks Meck, we had been planning on this since before the NY Giants game. If you remember I backed out originally on that one because we got tickets to the Buffalo game. Sure am glad I ended up making the trip w/ you guys. Still sucks about the weather tho. I told Mrs. Bum that I may have to make a trip to Denver for a playoff game if we host one. Now THAT would be awesome.;D ;D

Sorry to hear you won't make it Bum. I won't be risking it either. I'm going to have some friends over for the Giants game and the Broncos game.

Weather Reports as seen from the eyes of a crazy central New York Driver. AS of now 8am est. The road are terrible but are being attended to by the diligent plow crews. All night from about 9pm till around 2am we had freezing rain then the temps warmed up and it became just rain the roads where really shiny. Then after my 4:40am all heck broke loose and at 7am there was 3 inches of snow on the car. The weather reports on the radio called for atleast 2 to 3 more inches minimum before stopping around noon or 1pm. It's then suppose to start snowing again later tonight. Saturday's cast is temps around 35 with light possible flurries. Sunday's forecast is about the same. I was suppose to drive up to Syracuse today but looks like it's an early bedtime for me gotta get my nerves up for the Must do drive of tomorrow. I thought driving through Mt. Pocono in rainy foggy weather was bad. What I won't do to see our boys Play.

Sorry you can't make it Bum, thought that trip looked a little dicey for you. I just drove into the office an hour ago (20 miles), roads were not too bad around here, everyone was doing about 40 mph. It seems to be warming up pretty quickly, so I don't anticipate to much of a problem. We are planning to leave around 12:30-1:30, waiting for people to get out of work. You can start a whole new Thread for pics if you want to.

Now on to business. The boys and girls of The OrangeMane crew showed up in style again. We rock that house and were there when our boys needed us. I want to give my shout outs to all the Candian fans who were there. We rocked that R.V. all day long. The cold couldn't stop us from showing what Broncos fan can do. From all the way up in my 5th row from the top of the stadium seat. You could see sea's of Orange and although some of it was Hunting Gear Most of it was Broncos Country. We invaded the house and took ourself a piece of the pie to come one game closer to the ultimate goal of a Home playoff game and a bye week. (for today GO COLTS). I had another great time and met some awesome people. I got a couple more nicknames and was allowed to snap some good pictures. I can't wait till the next one. All I can say is

It was fun meeting some of the orangemaners at the tailgate (Meck, Disco, GS, Chad, 27Atwater, etc.). It's great to tailgate with Bronco fans at away games. There were plenty.

The Bills fans left us alone for the most part. Some fans were throwing snowballs, but not necessarily at us. However, there were more than a few "F the Broncos", "F Denver", and F all you Denver Biotches." Most Bills fans left by the 4th.

It was a pleasure meeting more die hard Broncos fans in the lot this weekend! I'd like to make a special shout out to GSrelyea/his brother and his friends from www.gotbeer.com (pretty sure they helped with the beer). If it wasn't for GS and his bro getting that RV it would have made a buffalo tailgate very difficult. Also Mowr Mowr stepped up with canopy and tables. That canopy basically saved our asses from the blowin snow.

To all the folks who brought food it was tasty. 27Atwater I think that was your chilli. Great stuff! Chadata those meatballs had to be some of the hottest piece of meat to ever come out of Canada. They were excellent. NY77 thanks for running the camera again.

I hate to start rattling off names as I don't want to forget anyone but it was just great to see familar faces again and meet new Broncos fans. There really is a great representation of Broncos fans from Canada let me tell you. I heard there was atleast 15 of them tailgating not to far from us. We sent a representative out that way to give them some cards.....lol Hopefully someone from their group will take the time to register up.

All went well except for the fact that the Bills have no clue what parking lot is what. Every security guard seemed to have a different reply when asked "Where is lot 6" I have a feeling there were quite a few people who just flat out gave up even looking for the tailgate with the cold weather but it seems as if most of the Broncos fans found it but not necessarily by knowing where it was. We kept sending out people to look for missing Broncos fans.

What is pretty amazing is that when you see someone at an airport travelling to a Broncos game the odds are pretty darn good that they know where the tailgate is...I ran into more than one set of Broncos fans on the road and they said "Yep lot 6 we know where to go!". Between all 3 boards working together there is no reason that any of us should ever have a problem finding a tailgate to join whether OF1 is there or not.

I'm sorry but we are behind on getting pics up. I still haven't had a chance to get the Ravens pics off the camera yet. I'm hoping by tomorrow tomorrow night we can have the Raves and Bills pics up.

I do have to say that a lot of the Bills fans were ok but there were definately some HATERS... everytime I went to the bathroom I got harrassed all the way to the bathroom and back... no big deal.. but sheesh the way some of them were acting you would have thought the broncos and bills were division rivals..

That was a great time out in snowy/cold Buffalo. Nothing better than a 10 hour tailgate with some bronco faithfull. Just wanted to thank everybody that came, it was great meeting all of you. As others have said, it is tough to remember everyones names, mostly due to the large amount of beer/jello/punch/tequilla ect. Meck & Disco it has been a pleasure getting to know you both, you guys def. represent. Slowly but surley I am learning the tailgate scene thanks to your help. Bungy cords can hold anything up, you can never have enough tarps, and 50 yd line 1st row seats can be found if you really try. MowrMowr you came through big time, the tables and canopy really saved us. Not to mention the laptop connection to get the tailgate lot 6/14 word out and the sausages that everyone seemed to rave about. Chadta with his meatballs that seemed to send everyone running for a cold one. 27atwater with the chili and the JELLO shots- There is always room for J-E-L-L-O. Nybroncsfan77 rode a bus w/ a bunch of Bills fans and got there in 5-10-15.... Went out and found bronco fans and directed them to where we all were, all while taking tons of pictures. Watch out for that THO- All the Canadien bronco fans that represented it was good to meet all of you ---A. And to our good friends from Gotbeer.com (Dave) and Heineken (Chrissy) Thanks for the brew, I think all of us that talked to you after the game know that you enjoyed the open bar in the luxery box. Esp. Dave who turned into Evil Dave.... gotta watch out for those space........... Last but not least thanks to my brother for driving out there while we sat in the back drinking and playing cards. Not to mention all the setup/take down of the tailgate and cleaning of the RV. All of you would appreciate him as much as I- if you knew how lazy I am. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

I cut a little deal and secured some seats at the 50 yard line row 1. It didn't take much just $20 bucks and a little charm with some bills fans and the good fortune that 4 Bills fans didn't bother to use their seats. That was me man. My boy Tim and I took them over, but they didn't seem to interested. They were pretty blitzed. We walked into the game with those fools, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were taken out by security by the end of the first quarter.

Right on. Good meeting you as well. I hear you about the long walk around there. Those lots were pretty darn big and spread out. Just because somebody is wearing orange doesn't mean you necessarily want to tailgate with them. That's the beauty of the Mane is that you can get to know people online and meet up at a game down the road.

Thanks for coming by!
