I guess this is going to be my road game for the year. My buddy is die hard skins fan so he wants to go. If anybody has tickets to this one please pm me, not sure how many I need but I know it will be atleast 4. What a great schedule this year 2 NY games plus a trip to Denver perfect.

this is the game I'm most looking forward to this year. A friend of mine likes the Redskins and he kept bragging about Portis going to Washington and Bailey is past his prime since he's with Denver now. I really hope that the broncos can win this game so I can shove it in his face.

Can anybody give me a couple of hotels that are close to the stadium?

BlueDamsel

1) Doubletree downtown – They offer a Broncos weekend package. They have all the details on the DenverBroncos.com website

2) Red Lion – Might be a bit pricey though because it’s RIGHT by invesco (just to the North of the stadium).

3) The Warwick downtown is where some of the others have stayed...

4) Denver.com has a few links to special deals around the city.

Basically if you look into anything downtown, you're within lightrail/bus/walking distance/shuttle service distance from the stadium...

I'll put together a more complete list in a bit...But those were just a few off the top of the head...

I guess it always depends on how much you are wanting to spend on a room each night...

The Warwick is great because it's within walking distance of downtown...but it's a bit pricey...on the flip side you don't have to pay for a cab and Duffy's (Irish Pub) is close, inexpensive and great for breakfast, lunch or dinner...we hung there a bit...It was 119 for Sat. 119 for Sun. 165 for MONDAY (Go figure...it's KC on MNF that we're going to...) Ha! It's worth it.

GSRelyea.......If you are a cheap bastard :) and need a place to crash for the weekend you could stay at my home office/Bus house across the street from my house.. Just an option. Pezman and some others used it last season. Infact No1Broncosfan is using it now til we find him the right place and get him under :contract: for his new pad. He'll be gone by week 5 or I'll have to put him to work on da bus. :yep: ;D

Or any of the options Damsel suggested are good choices.

A cheap bastard?? Wow thanks Meck. I think I will book the Warwick, but I appreciate the offer. First trip out to Denver, really looking forward to it.

Of course I do...and I got a room at the Hilton in San Diego/Mission Valley for $109! Not bad...the prices in San DIego were crazy...or they were already booked!

Plus, the Warwick, if I recall right has a shuttle that runs every 10 minutes or so and will pickup at the airport and return ya to where you came from ;D

Here's there website...for the Washington dates it says $165 a night...but Expedia booked it for 119 for Sat and Sun...then 165 for Monday for us for Sept. 24-26.

Myself and my 3 of my buddies just finalized our trip to Denver for the weekend of the Skins game. We're arriving from Delaware on Friday morning and leaving on Monday. It's the first trip to Denver for all of us, so any help with ideas as far as places to check out or area info would be greatly appreciated. Three of us are Broncos diehards while the 4th is a Foreskins fan, so drinks will be on him Sunday night. Thanks again for any help you can offer and I hope to hang out with some of you guys there.

TO ALL OMERS ATTENDING THE REDSKINS GAME. A SPECIAL SURPRISE IS IN ROUTE FOR THE TAILGATE. ONLY DISCO AND I KNOW ABOUT IT.THIS SURPRISE WAS CREATED BY TWO FANS WHO WOULD CHEER FOR AL-QUIDA IF THEY WERE PLAYING THE REDSKINS. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS. WE HATE THE REDSKINS MORE THAN THE RAIDERS OR CHIFS. BEAT THEIR ASS AND MAKE OUR DAY !!!

One of my good friends will be at the game and he is a born and raised Redskins fan - so I suppose the more the merrier. We'll have a theme based activity around ribbing the Redskins :). Lot R - stright west of the entrance. Lot C probably has plenty of opportunity too...

Just an FYI. The tailgate in spot #31 will begin at 8:00am. OrangeForceOne will not be there. There will be a tailgate though but it's going to be a little different. Myself and crew are taking the day off to go enjoy some other tailgates. I know some people are coming into town who wanted to see the bus. If that is the case drop me a pm and you guys are welcome over Saturday night for couple brews as we prepare for the game sunday!

The good news is Mile High Jester is this weeks MVT and has opened up his tailgate to the OrangeMane! So come on by CRV#31 if you like or stop in to say hello @ Jester's pad. We'll be bouncing out of #31, Lot R to check out things there, and hangin with Jesters crew.

Jesters got the big grill so bring some beer and meat for the Q! It's alumni week also! So bring your old school gear. Plenty of old timers will be around

It's going to be a great day to tailgate!

Still pretty new to the board, although long time fan. Couple questions:

Do you guys meet up at a certain place, and where?

I will be bringing either my 14 year old son or 10 year old daughter (need to train em young) - is it PG rated?

Thanks. Be fun to meet some of you.

Meck77

Yes. We meet up in space #31 lot CR-v. It's the southwest corner of the stadium in the RV lot. Normally you would see a big orange bus in the spot. This week it won't be there though. The people will be there.

Look for the Disco Man's afro...lol Big Orange Wig. We'll be hanging there and bouncing in and out of our tailgate to check out some others.

They'll be a great party going on at the MVT pad just down the way from us. Jester does it up right.

The tailgate scene is PG but an occasional R rated word might fly when a Chief or Raider fan walks by.

Come on by and say hello! It always good to put a name to a face!

Go Broncos!
