My mom keeps sending pictures of my dachshund puppies running in the snow in Co Spgs. The snow's almost as high as the smaller of the two.

Oh come on.....Colorado weather is entertaining. 70 degrees yesterday, foot of snow today, 70 degrees tomorrow.

I was just getting used to wearing shorts and playing golf again. Mother nature is toying with me.
Although, I'll take mother nature's wrath if the basketball gods keep delivering good fortune upon the Nuggets. :)

Up north of the Big Thompson, it is rather a squeeky little "storm". Not much is happening. Some stuff in the Hills west, but that is good. The North Central drainage system is at 86% snow pack and could use a bit more for sure. No one here complains about snow or rain. Don't like the drought, and fishing is better when the river has water in it.
I say bring it on!!!! Need 'smore!!!!!

Gotcha...I lived in Orange county for 25 years... couldn't see saddleback mountain (10 - 15) miles away from where we lived...

Live in Monument - we've had about 16 inches of snow so far and it's blowing sideways. I was going to get the snowblower out, but then asked, "Why?" Weatherman is saying this storm could exceed 3 feet of snow by tomorrow morning up here.

It won't stay around long. It's the storm that missed us but we had one about a week and a half ago like you guys are getting today, not as windy though, and it melted right away. Of course we are looking at flood danger if it warms too quickly. If anyone in this state dares mention the word drought they are open to mob attack. I'm watering my lawn every damn day this summer.
Sorry, got a little carried away with the venting.

I was shooting little league baseball yesterday. A coach said to the ump, "it's a perfect day for baseball". The ump replied "yeah, makes you wonder why people live in places like Iowa". I thought it was pretty funny, as I was standing there in shorts and a T shirt, drinking a cold soda.

I don't miss that at all. It's 70 here and the wife is sending me out to mow the lawn. I forgot in Colorado they don't sell alcohol on Sundays and don't the supermarkets only sell like 3-2 beer?

Yeah, but they jsut passed a law which you can take wine from eating establishments. So....during blizzards you just need to find one that delivers.

Thats what I thought My sister is in the springs, brother is in Highlands Ranch and my parents are in Bailey. Have to call them all and let them know when I'm finished with the lawn I might have to go golfing, lol. I better enjoy it while I can the wife and I are looking to move back to Colorado.

The roads were much worse in Aurora this morning, here in Englewood(Hampden & Wads) roads are not that bad at all. I have 4 wheel drive so it's kind of fun!

The change of season was good, I just like the Air in Florida better, its thicker... eaiser to breathe.From April to November the air in South Florida is so thick and humid you could choke on it. There's a reason no one leaves the house unless it's to go to the beach. The air was so clear and fresh last week in Colorado I thought my head was going to explode, though that might have been from all the crack I had been smoking.
