Wow. What a way to bring back some great memories... I'm joining a softball team this year. It's been the first time I've played in a league in at least ten years. I'm having a blast, but I forgot just how taxing this game can be...

I'm generally sore, but the highlight was when a pop fly split me and my buddy in left field. We both went running for it, and I dove just as he was sliding for it. His knee caught my jaw. Thankfully, it just jammed up, and didn't break, or I might be sitting in a hospital bed with a fused jaw right now and eating through a tube.

All around, though, practice was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to the season!

Anyone else in a league this year?

We'd need to get that feeding tube removed...

Nice... yeah its tough when you have gotten out of competitive activity and then you try to jump back in it.

Yeah... They asked me what my position is... I'm in no shape to be calling any position mine. But I've got a lot of hustle in me, and I'll show up to practice and work on my game. I always loved to play the sport. :)

I allways thought Taco would be more of a Don Zimmer type. I hope you have a living will Taco. I'm more of a Billy Martin type, now where the hell are my car keys?

TJ, ever heard of the Mcquade tourney up here in No Dak? 400+ teams in Bismarck that weekend, its ridiculous-good time. Teams from all over the country, last year I think the extents were Missouri and Utah and the closer you got to North Dakota the more teams you got, number of them from Minneapolis.

TJ, with your heritage, you'd better be a natural or a lot of people are gonna be disappointed. Also, don't catch a ball in your mouth. The results are highly undesirable. Trust me.
