Hey guys,

First off, I want to thank TJ for helping us out greatly last year. TJ was a key factor in helping us set up our Fantasy Fan Association and I hope you guys enjoyed the articles we submitted through our site,h and here at the Orange Mane.

We definitely appreciate the support shown by many of you! Thank you.

We are heading into year 2 and will be revamping a number of things. Weekly content will change as we focus on more critical areas like rankings, 2nd/3rd tier players, etc. There were some things we did last year that worked out well and others that may not have gone over as well as expected.

So, we're tweaking the material and hoping that 2005 is a breakout year.

Right now, we're looking for a couple of writers. It's a free service, so we can't pay anyone for articles at this time. However, we will give you plenty of recognition as well as mentioning that you are a Contributing Staff Writer from the Orange Mane. (as long as that's cool with TJ and he wants you representing his site. :) )

Our goal is to have a half dozen or so writers that are interested in writing 2 articles per month. These articles can be based on ideas that we have or your own original pieces. It's your call.

If interested, please email me at brad@pigskinsanity.com

If any of you have a hardcore love of writing about IDP, then we'd love to bring you on board as well.

Thanks again for the support and have a great weekend.

Thanks,
Brad

I'll give you a helping hand, Brad, and stick it for a while to let people see it. :)

Basically, a staff writer would be willing to write to fantasy football related articles - using stats, trends, projections. Topics could be anything that strikes your fancy ... trends of 3rd year receivers, the fantasy value of Patriots' receivers, receivers or running backs that tend to start the season cold and end red hot - vice versa, can Curtis Martin repeat the magic of 2004, etc.

So, if you play fantasy football... think of the top 10 burning questions that you have regarding players or the fantasy draft, and think about what you would like to read. That's the kind of stuff we are trying to write.

I'd fancy myself a David Dodds without the OCD. I've still got a piece I wrote about 6 months ago and never sent that I need to...

:) Just change the date and take out players that are retired now.

I'll be happy to contribute scathing reviews of whatever anyone writes, free of charge...

I'm a fantasy junkie (and commissioner of an on-going league) and would be willing to help out....what's the expectations of the articles (length, etc)?

The expectations are rather loose... no set length, but whatever the opinion, view or rankings are ... the article should have enough stats and data to support it. Shoot me an email and we can discuss, if you like.

thanks,
