Scott Fujita - LB - Chiefs
Scott Fujita is in jeopardy of missing the start of the regular season because of arthoscopic ankle surgery being performed today.
The Chiefs are concerned the surgery will reveal more extensive damage than originally thought. The Chiefs only have six linebackers under contract. Most either have serious injury issues or have been totally incompentent in the NFL. Apr. 8 - 1:54 pm et

And then
Monty Beisel - LB - Chiefs
The Patriots will sign Monty Beisel, formerly of the Chiefs, to a two-year contract.
Terms aren't yet available, but Beisel will help fill the gap that is likely to be left by Tedy Bruschi. While he may not start, Beisel should be useful as an inside linebacker in New England. Apr. 8 - 11:59 am et

yeah so why did they wait till now to fix it? The fact that he may miss the first game isn't a good sign. He will be rusty by the time he can go.

So do you think he would have said "well I think hes done for"? There must be some concern if they said that they fear that its could be worse. Either way he will miss camp and more then likely preseason. Not good bob not good.

When have you ever heard of minor arthroscopic surgery on a player Fujita's age becoming a problem?

I don't see where it said minor. Age has nothing to do with it, it's the extent of the injury. Terrell Davis was a young man also.

There have been players that have had to leave the game because of this "minor" 'Scope. At a position where cutting and changing directions are essential skill sets, this can be a difficult situation. It is not a procedure to take lightly, nor underestimated.
After all is said and done, anything that is bad for the Chefs is good. They deserve every bad break they can get.

See Bob doesnt get that. If he misses camp and preseason then he won't be up to full speed the time season starts. He will be running around on a bad wheel and that won't help him at all.

Has there been any factet of life that Monty Python hasn't taken a "lighthearted, but grizzley" take on? My favorite is the shot taken on reproductive sanctity: "Every Sperm is Sacred". That is probably the most direct shot taken at the Irish Catholics since Swifts' "A Modest Proposal". But then good old "Merrie England" and all a' that is a source of laughter on many different levels is it not?
"Monty Python's Flying Circus" is a great symbolic and representational sobriquet for the Chefs and their organization. Either that or "F Troop".

Yeah too bad we didn't go into a hurry up O and score with one second left to make the game look better like KC did the year before. You hold on to that 45 to 17 game and I will hold on to the back to back super bowl wins in my life time.

Why does anything that happened 7 years ago have to do with last year? We dominated your asses and proved we were the better team. This year we go for the sweep.

I absolutely believe Denver was better that year. KC had a better record because of the easy schedule.

Why can't I get a answer from a KC fan after I post the obvious? Two years ago after Portis TOURCHED KC for 5 tds KC fans still said they had the better team. Why? Because they had the best record and they won the divison. The best part of the arguement was atleast we made it out of the first round! Hmmm I guess thats what a bye will do for a team. Yes KC fans you beat the bye week and made it the the second round only to LOSE at home.

I would bet you that most of the players on that pathetic team would be a h3ll of a lot more respectful of the Broncos and of other teams than that scumbag is. I hope he loses his wad when the Broncos beat them next year. Go on out to Vegas and put your house and money where your mouth is, you pathetic loser. I'm tired of your stupid and pathetic ramblings.
