I must say that since all of my gear was stolen I could only play the video on my make shift computer, which happens to lack audio. For some reason when I saw this the first thing I thought of was the star wars kid.

So whatever happened with all that, TD? Did you guys ever get anything back or find out who did it?

Unfortunately cases that involve a "cold burglary" as the authorities refer to it are rarely ever solved and that appears to stand true in our situation. I honestly don't think the authorities spend too much time on burglaries because they are difficult to solve and the police lack the resources. It's funny how your left on your own to call pawn shops and other fences, basically forced to launch your own investigation if you want any hope of catching these people. We've been dealing with the insurance companies lately, when I'm not getting destroyed at survivor, another ugly situation in which you are just flat being ripped off and are made to feel more like the criminal than the person who actually stole from you, No offense to any of you working for insurance companies. Thankfully, as time has passed things have felt a little more normal. My wife’s friends held a jewelry party for her so that she could get some of it back, insurance only covers $1000.00 so you can imagine how quickly that loss would add up. But friends locally and of course all of you omaners have helped immensely. Thanks for asking....

Glad to hear you are feeling like you are getting some sense of normalcy back.
Sounds like you're being a victim again when it comes to all the insurance crap. Go figure. They'll gladly take your money for premiums but when it comes to paying up on their end....bend over.
So $1000? Boy, that's not much at all. I can imagine how quickly that does go.
