Everyday I watch the news namely the RMSR(ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPORTS REPORT) and I feel they diss on the entire organization. The "Browncos" thing is stupid (didn't we do that last year with the "JETSKINS".) Maybe I just don't like the negative talk about my team. What do you think.????NOT LIKE THIS IS ANYTHING NEW, I FEEL THAT DENVER WAS ALWAYS DISSED EVEN WHEN THE "DUKE" WAS IN HIS PRIME!!!!

THEIR HATE ONLY MAKES ME STRONG!!! :moody:

Well the Broncos haven't exactly done anything lately to deserve praise. I also think that Shanahan is kind of a polarizing figure -- you love him or you hate him. The media hates him because he is the no straight answer man. He also had the misfortune of being the guy that raised the bar to this level. It will be tough to ever be happy just as an AFC contender again.

I like watching the RMSR, I like haters opinions.

Still pissed that Fox Sports has decided to not carry FS Rocky Mountain here in North Dakota starting the 16th of this month. Numerous emails have not helped one bit.

They argue that the programming is too much of an overlap from the FS station out of Minneapolis. If anyone here has Directv with the sports package they all know that on every station the programming overlaps, The Sports List, BDSSP and others........and if there is any local sports you do not get those anyways because of blackout restrictions-thats fine!

My point is that I watch the local sports talk shows, Denver is basically a secondary local affiliate here in North Dakota, take away some of the stupid east coast biased stations.

Done venting

they have 6 years of evidence to support their criticism...how long before you've had enough? Never? That's cool. I'll be a fan forever too, but it won't stop me from calling out my favorite team.

I thought last year's moves were the first good ones shanny made since giving the keys to SOB and bringing in cancerous free agents. I'm actually optimistic for next year. IF we get two DE's out of Ebanezor, CB and Trevor, I'll be content. But with those two and anton, raylee and marco polo in a rotation, it should be a very credible line. And, I too think Warren will actually show up. With him and Luther Ellis, that's a potent under tackle.

And there's the predator and midget linebacker for designated blitzing.

I think Putz and Tater will be fine. Watts should be better.

Shotty almost fell into a superbowl because the football gods blessed his incompetence. Shanny may be catching the same luck this year. Let's hope we don't choke.

On a side note. Adam Schefter just said on the NFL network"The Broncos have the most talent at DE in the league".

You listen to 10 different "experts" and you get 10 different answers. Bottom line these shows depend on ratings and they like to stir **** up to get people to pay attention. Perfect example....This thread.

If anyone was truly an expert they would be retired multi millionaires from laying NFL bets in Vegas). Instead these "experts" are beating the streets trying to crack a story, get some attention, and put food on the table.

Besides all the "real experts" post on this board already. :kiddingme ;D

If your looking for blind homerism, your on the wrong board. (unless your Jake or Meck, they are heavily invested). This board has some of the finest sports buff on the planet. I think we put a corkscrew so far up SOB's ass that Gruden is still trying to uncork it.

I'll say this once, Denver is the only team in the division that hasn't flagged at least a divisional crown (and Seattle doesn't count, they have the Walrus and Ray Ray Rhodes the wimpster).

The gloss on those Lombardi's has too much dust on it. Hell, I would be happy with a Hunt Trophy. Hell, even Greasy Al has one of those.

I just don't want Shanahan to become the next Shula or Landry. I don't have the patience. As a whole, fans are still behind Napoleon, we still remember Dan Reeves and Wade Phillips as he looked like the guy with -600 on Jeopardy. We still remember Tommy Maddox, Marcus Nash and Ted Gregory.

IMO, the Plan delivered. If someone said two months ago we would have C. Brown and Pryce as bookends and Warren at DT, Gold back at Will and a great prospect in D.J. Williams, we would of been laughed at.

We got Hamilton and Putz and Cooper redone, picked up a couple 3rd round picks so we have 4 picks in the first day.

Issue #1 is to get thru that God Damn Manning Crew. That starts with winning the division and making someone play us at home. We haven't had a home playoff game in close to a decade.

I consider myself a hard core NFL fan, but this place makes me blush. The lurkers here are freaking amazing. You know who you are.

That's not a shock, in fact its probably true. Problem is that talent and PRODUCTION are two different things. If these guys production can match their talent...look out New England.

The voice of reason. I too am sick of slightly better than .500 football and 2nd in the AFC West.

I just don't want Shanahan to become the next Shula or Landry. I don't have the patience.
He doesn't either, he's more competitive. I believe he'll quit in the next few years if he doesn't see an upward trend.

I see the point. We can critize the moves individually, but as a whole this group has a chance... they have questionmarks also. But then again, who doesn't have them right now. Just cuz you make moves and generate buzz (Oakland) doesn't guarantee you anything. How would Bronco fans feel if we gave Lamont 28 million?

Without falling into your homerism category, I think we drew short straw with them. No one wants to play Indy in the Dome. Not even NE. However, it is our fault for not taking care of business against Oakland and San Diego late in the year. We would have been playing to host a game then... I would have rather gone to New England last year than Indy.

The quality of guest on that show is not that high. They get this city's 2 biggest idiot columnists in Krieger and Kizla, add someone who has probably never played a sport in Clough, and put them with a pretty decent columnist in Armstrong. It's not like Shefter and Clayton are their guests.

as much as I hate Kizla, I'd prefer local guys over national guys like Clayton. And just because you played a sport doesn't mean you're opinion is more valid than the next guy. IMO, Howard Griffith of FSRM needs to get a clue.

Kizla is a moron. I can deal with Krieger. He has actually been supportive of Shanny's coaching ability. In fact, he said if Denver let's Shanahan go, they will regret letting go "the best coach they've ever had". He just doesn't think Shanny makes good moves as the GM.

I wonder if Kizla is still eating crow after dogging the Nugs for going after K-mart instead of Boozer..

Probably not. He pimped a move up for Mike Williams already this offseason, when the last guy he thought they should go after would have cost the Broncos at least 4 starters off this year's team. He's not too bright.

HornHeads with any sense will take BMW with #7. Believe it or not, they seem to think Taylor will be a #1 up here.

That's as funny as Denver thinking C. Brown can dance again. If the Vikings pass on either Edwards or BMW I will go postal, altho if both are gone, Rolle wouldn't be a bad pick. Put him at nickle ect. They spent WAY WAY WAY too much money on Smoot, but that's their bed. I think the HornHeads might take that TE at 18.
