the roster hasn't added a number yet so he's probably trying to buy #52 off DJ

I think it it's a good bet that Gold gets #52 back....DJ wore 17 in college and took 52 since it was available. Gold will pay nicely to get it back.

anybody know of any place that will will take the name off the authentic NFL jerseys and put another name on?
I HATE the reebok jerseys, I wish the NFL would have left it up to the team to decide who supplys the jerseys, I personally liked the NIKE ones the best

Darrius Watts has #17 and Ian Gold will have to fork over some of that $8 million signing bonus for #52..

I don't think the NFL rules will allow a LB to wear #17, which I like the rules b/c thats the thing I hate about college fb, I can't stand to see a LB wearing a single digit number... something weird about it..

In a "ask DJ a question" session last year, he said he chose #52 because the number he wanted (55) was taken.
Maybe he can work a three way trade out with Ian and Chukurah.
..of course, Keith Burns might not be to jolly about havin' to wear a third different number in three stints with Denver.

Let Ian try to catch a football for his number back.... It would be like Nuke Laloosh trying to hit Crash Davis with a fastball....
