CLEVELAND March 28. 2005) -- The Browns terminated guard Kelvin Garmon's contract, dumping a player brought in by former coach Butch Davis last year to solidify Cleveland's weak offensive line.

Garmon injured his medial collateral, anterior cruciate and posterior ligaments in his right knee against Baltimore last November and missed half the season.

Go get him Shanny!

I'll gaurantee Bass is gone by the end of the 1st... were going to need to use #25 for him.

God I'm a broken record with this guy.

I think it would be a great pick at 25, guaranteed starter by next year.

Pros: Very strong, has a mean streak. Technically sound, will start on opening day.
Cons: Could use a little more work in pass protection.
Draft Exchange Analysis:
At Michigan... All-America candidate ... Lombardi Award candidate ... Outland Trophy Award candidate ... two-time All-Big Ten first team from coaches and media (2002-03) ... earned second-team All-America honors last season ... has played in 32 career games and started 27 contests ... has made 27 consecutive starting assignment at left guard ... three-year letterman and two-year starter at left guard.

5th Year (2004)... co-captain ... Outland and Lombardi trophy candidate ... started at left guard vs. Miami (Sept. 4) ... starting left guard at Notre Dame (Sept. 11) ... made 30th consecutive start at left guard vs. San Diego State (Sept. 18) ... made first career start at center vs. Iowa (Sept. 25) ... started at center at Indiana (Oct. 2) ...

Sounds like a need for the Broncos for sure. Okay I am on the bandwagon if Pollack is off the board.

Back up the meat wagon, we have room....

Honestly, I wouldn't mind signing this crip, but man...this guy sounds like a candidate for the Salvation Army....

He is a great value for the 3rd round! If for some reason we don't address the o-line in the 1st or 2nd i would look Kemoeatu also. But he is not in Baas's league

In regards to Chris, when I saw his 40 time I thought he would be too slow to play for Denver. When I looked further at his shuttle time, his jumps, and his strength he could fill the bill at RG if he can control his hellacious temper. If we could get him an Baas our interior line would solidify almost instantly.

In my opinion, we still need D-line in the first round.

The unhappy triad, bad mojo. League minimum might be a bit much. Maybe some shiny beads and a latte.
