...Rb-- Terrel Davis, Sammy Winder, Haven Moses
...

Haven Moses was a WR.

Haven Moses was inducted into the Ring of Fame in 1988 along with teammates Craig Morton and kicker Jim Turner. Moses played 10 seasons with the Broncos (1972-1981). He ended his career with 5,450 receiving yards and 44 TDs. His yards-per-catch average was 18.0, and he averaged over 19 yards a catch in 1974, 1976 and 1977. In the AFC Championship Game on New Year's Day, 1978, Moses caught five passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns.

My vote for the other RB would be Floyd Little.

RB: TD and Floyd. How can you miss Floyd? I'd chalk it up to young but....

TE: sharpe, but Kay? Damn, mobley was better, and odoms was better than mobley. odoms still has MORE yds than Gonzalez, last I checked.

WR: Watson and Smith. EMac as the third but where Moses.

Oline. You list habib and Tbone who only played abotu 3 years. Even assuming you were only watching for the Elway years, there's Paul Howard and Ken Lanier. I'd take Claude Minor over Lanier at RT, but either would be fine.

Dline. Kragan? Maybe, but I think R.Carter was by far a better NT. And Paul Smith was arguabley the best DT to play for Den. Tombstone, Rcarter, Smith and Alzado, but Jones is fine.

LBers. I'd pick 4 with Fletcher the odd guy in. Wilson, Grads and TJ I keep thinking I'm missing somebody, and not my personal fav Swenson..... ah, Meck

Corners. Wright and Billy Thompson

Safties. Atwater and Smith

bendog

I loved seeing him play. Prototypical DE in a 3-4. Two gap guy who'd take a tackle and guard on running plays. Had a little pass rush game, so the tackle had to stay honest, which helped on the blitz and Alzado getting the double team.

Speaking of Alzado, I have his autograph from a high school athletic banquet in Springfield colorado in 1977. One of my most prized. I know he went out in a bad way but still cherrish the signature

I can't believe how much love Kay is getting. You never knew if he'd be in jail or not and if he was on the field you never knew if he was going to drop the ball or not.

Hey, where's Melvin Bratton?? John Keyworth? Dick Butkus? (If memory serves me right the broncos(AFL) drafted him, but so did da bears (NFL) and he felt like Chi town was the place. Just think, if Butkus had played here he would be in the same boat as Gradishar and Jackson.

Harden?? You have to go with Champ Bailey. Then it would be Billy Thompson and Ben Smith...lol

I would take Mecklenburg over Wilson. DJ WIlliams will soon be mentioned in the same breath as Gradishar. Rod Smith, Lionel Taylor then Haven Moses and Vance Johnson. RBs Davis, Little, Armstrong Mark Schlereth was 10 times the Guard Habib was.
Double threat would be Rick Upchurch
I loved Clarence Kay for the way he hated the raiders!! He was always getting infights sticking up for his fellow Broncos.

Any all-time team without Floyd Little, Rick Upchurch, Billy Thompson, and Jason Elam just to name a few is flawed.

Billy Thompson returned punts also. Floyd Little was a great back, and a real gentleman. I'd like to see his clone on the team today. Jason Elam this guy is an all-timer, no doubt. Upchurch held the record for PR's for TD's in a season until Dante Hall came around, or does Upchurch still hold the record?

The best CB to ever play for the Broncos and the only Bronco defenseman in the Hall of Fame is Willie Brown. He was already a star in the AFL for the Broncos when that asshole Lou Saban traded him to Al Davis (of all people) and the Raiders for a 3rd round choice. I was livid then and I'm still livid now.

Rich Jackson. King of the Head-Slap. Anybody want to bring back the head-slap?

Wouldn't be many $60 million signing bonuses given to QB's. But the stats of QB's that played in the 60's would be better evaluated.

Also, if I may, the 2nd best RB in Bronco history is Floyd Little. I could even be persuaded to argue that he was the best ever for the Broncos. He played for terrible Bronco teams and his greatest runs were described as just getting back to the line of scrimmage.

But TD is still my personal favorite.

Mr. Little had Q moves with power and twist. If he had TD's holes?????

If not for Jim Brown, Floyd Little would still hold all of Syracuses rushing records.

So, yeah, I could be persuaded also that Mr. Floyd Little was the best ever RB for the Broncs.

I had the honor of shaking his hand when I was a 10 year old boy at the City Park Golf Course snack bar. I still treasure that memory.

I can't honestly add some of the older guys like Gradisher or Tombstone Jackson due to the fact I never saw them play. I became a fan in 84 when I was 9, and I don't think I started to understand the game until the 86-87 season. I include a guy like Wright because he is my first Bronco Memory when he returned a blocked kick for a touchdown against San Diego.

The unintentional comedy!

First of all, they play "offense" and "defense" in the NFL. But that's forgiveable if you weren't raised in the U.S.

Secondly, Haven Moses was a receiver, not a running back,

"Graig Gregan" I think I knew as Greg Kragen. Or maybe you meant Steve Grogan.

"Randy Gradishare" is that guy the Hall of Fame keeps overlooking.

You can't come up with a better corner than Mike Harden? Oh, let me see? Does the name Champ Bailey ring a bell?

Brian Habib makes your list but Dan Neil doesn't??

I hope you come up with a better list when you turn 12 next year.
