I don't really expect my Wildcats to upset the guys in faggy blue, especially if Sumpter can't go, But, my boys will give them a run!
Let's Go Nova!

Consider your team lucky, you'll be losing to the eventual national champs this year.

Aaagh!!! Someone's hurt for Nova? I have Villanova going on and beating NC in my bracket. Tell your team to keep their chin up and do this thing! ~Popps~

Sumpter is one of the more important players. His absence, if he's out, will be a big blow to their chance of springing the upset.

I'd love to see UNC get upset. The Kansas and Syracuse games were awesome. I love seeing the Mid-Majors coming in to the tournament and ruining the big boys shot at the championship.....It makes for great TV....

Carolina's team has to use it's strength , that's a deep bench.... No team can run with us this year as far as that goes, It's college basketball played by kids that make kid mistakes, not saying it won't happen but the Tarheels will have to have one crappy game to lose to the likes of a Villanova

Dude, read again. I was referring to the Kansas and Syracuse loss. Now, go back and slowly read again.

I must've made up the part where you said "I would love for UNC to lose."
When I went back and slowly read it again, for some reason that part is still there.

Sorry...frog in my throat. :)
North Carolina is certainly capable of having a down game. They've been playing unreal ball up to now in the NCAA tournament. I know you would love to have that intensity last for another 4 games. Will that happen? This is March Madness...

Right. I said that. Then there was this little thing called a period at the end of the sentence. It looks like this > .
Then I mentioned about Kansas and Syracuse losing and how I like seeing the "Mid-Majors" upset the big schools. That's what happened in those two games. Got it?
Whew,,,,,,,That was rough.......

You're a cocky little guy, aren't ya? What would you like from me? A "my bad"? Maybe an "I'm sorry"?
Please let me know what would feed your ego here and I'll be sure to help you out.
But if you want a lesson in English, try making seperate paragraps so people don't think you're talking about 1 subject, that's the point of a paragraph and not a sentence.
Hopefully that lesson doesn't knock down your high and mighty ego too much, I'm sure you can try to act like an asshole to some other people to get it right back to where it is.

Don’t forget the Roy Williams factor too
He’ll end up throwing a bonehead coaching decision in a close game sometime in this tourney

Having a bad day are we? :moody: lol
No, it just gets me that you would think that somebody actually thought a Big East team was a "Mid-Major".

I'm sure they have. I'm from Indiana and have been a die-hard Indiana fan since 1975. I started watching and following Texas Tech since Knight left. I like what Knight has done at Tech. He's taken a mediocre program and has won 20+ games the past 4 years. He's brought recognition to the program. The motion offense is fun to watch and he can win with no "big names" to speak of. Ronald Ross was a walk-on and is leading the team this year.
Anyway, no idea why I brought that up. I think the Gonzaga win got me a little excited and I think Tech can take West Virgina and make it to the elite 8. That would be a huge accomplishment for them and it would nice to see them get to the final four. I'd be happy with that.....

I'ma big Bobby Knight fan, and I like TTU just based on him being the coach there. Unless TTU is playing North carolina, I'll want Bobby Knight to win, so that'll suck for me if TTU played UNC for the title.
Tech ahs as good of a shot at anyone at making the elite 8, WVU is a hot team right now but they're a 3 point team, and all 3-point shooters have off days. Theyre a streaky team, and TTU can take them.

Looks like they lost in the first round in a bunch of years, sucks for KU fans
I was rooting for OU myself, so I was kinda irritated at that……..
Trust me, Roy will not win a championship

Sounds good, I'll take your word for it and hope that my team folds up against Nova or jsut forfeits the game now.

Dude, this is the ACC, this ain't the Big Least or the Big 12 Even the worst teams in the ACC would dominate almost every other Div in college ball, yes we are that good.
UNC with the exception of the first game of the year without our starting point guard beat the hell out of every other non conference foe.
We lose to Wake at their house (top 5 team most of the yr) and we lose to Duke at Cameron (another strong team)
We lose to GT in the ACC tourney, the ACC tourney is a slugfest and of course I would have like to win it, I still prefer to save the energy for the Big Dance.
You can kick and scream all you want, but the ACC is the Conf for the Big Boys.
Bring on NOVA (Which means NO-GO in Spanish, and thats why Chevy had a hard time selling them south of the border.

Last time I checked, the Big East won the last 2 national titles. It's funny..... Florida State would dominate Syracuse, UConn, BC, Etc?
You ACC guys make me laugh. The ACC is SLIGHTLY better then the Big East (if you're lucky). It's been that way for years now. Add Louisville to the Big East next year too.
Open your eyes RR. You might realize the ACC isn't the only conference in college hoops.

Yeah, as Ro said, Sumpter is done with a torn ACL. Randy Foy will need to have a monster game for us to have a chance. Jason Frazier will need another double double filling in for Sumpter also.
