Does either party realize or care that if they would spend less time trying to fault the other maybe we would make progress. Its almost impossible to watch the news anymore because you know its being spun. CNN and Fox and ABC and NBC they each have all picked sides.

I know it iss a pipe dream but I think both parties should be abolished and all candidates should run as independents.

Actually i think they do, and that's why both sides pay people to spin things that way. By being distracted, most people don't realize what's going on.
Not to mention you divide and create chaos, then you synthesize a solution. GW is just as 'conservative' as clinton was with alot of his programs. I don't like bush's SSI plan just due to i think it's a plan to prop up the economy and with corrupt CEO's, who's to say they won't do what our 'leaders' do, and rob the cookie jar for their own play money.

James Madison recognized the inevitability of a two party system and used it to his advantage on numerous occasions. Not least of which was to have DC placed on the Potomac.
