Can anyone post any worthwhile recruiting for the Buffs that doesn't come from rivals.com or buffstampede.com. It looks like they are signing a bunch of mid level guys excluding Greer. I hope Barnett can whip them boys into shape because I think this years team is going to be competitive for another North Title. We may even finish inside the top 20 this year if Klatt stays healthy and doesn't throw the ball to the wrong team. With that being said I sure wish we still had Calhoun but I think Greer is going to start for CU next year.
Jordan Dizon is a future NFL LB!
Peace!!!

Most of what anyone is going to give to you is from those two sources. M. Lucas DE could see immediate PT next year, as could MacMartin OG, Yates (WR), Burton LB and a few others. I would be very surprised to see M. Greer on campus next year. He seems to be destined to Juco due to his grades (How that happens at a private school like Mullen I have no idea) Kevin Moyd is the Dizon of this class. He was lightly recruited until commiting to CU, now Spurrier has contacted him, Ole Miss and some other southern school. He played for a football factory HS in the Miami area. He was on the 4 x 800 State Champion team in track. Nothing spectacular, but a very solid class.
The buffs will have a good competition at RB next year with Vickers, Ellis, Charles, Ceasar, and Miles. I can't wait for college FB!!!

I wonder if McKay might see early time too. He supposedly shut down Fred Rouse (5*, #2 WR, #6 overall) in the Florida-Cali All-Star Game.
Saw a ranking of the top 100 Florida guys by someone who follows high school football down there, that had Moyd at #53 and Harrison Beck down in the 90's.
After all the negative recruiting that went on earlier this year, for CU to have a decent class is something that should be looked on positively. Still the lack of DTs is troubling.

Duh, how could I forget McKay? I hope Moyd is solid, he's been getting a lot of interest of late. Who was the last Fla. back to come to CU, Troutman?

Yeah, I think Troutman was the last. Too bad they couldn't grab Carroll out of Fl too.

True, but I like Yates and Barnett. Good speed. Small quick recievers to go with all the "possesion" WRs in boulder right now.
Littlehales has wheels, so does Mackey but the other are not going to scare anyone with their speed.

Out of curiosity Windy... errrr Master ;)
Do you happen to know how well Barney and Co are recruiting in Houston and Tejas this year?
I do know we snagged a kid from Corona, Ca (Right down the road from me) who is a top tier player...

That's highflyer to you punk!! :-*
They landed a stud TX top 100 player, Marcus Burton, a LB. Guess who coaches at that HS? Cedric Cormier. Other than that no Texass players.
here's a link to the current commits list. Lot's of Cali and CO kids. All and all I pleased with this class so far.

Sounds like they are getting a decent class with what they have to work with. How are the self imposed restrictions working? I'm really surprised CU is getting commits from guys in Florida. Fly all that way and then can only stay 1 day. What have they been doing with the Dbacks? I know the players we have will be a year older and yada yada yada, but we need some skill back there.

There are some DBs. Without a passruc=sh that means little though. Where have I heard that before?

It seems like CU is becoming a good place for punters and kickers to go. The thin air likely helps there stats enough. Mason Crosby will be in the NFL I think someday.
I hope Greer qualifies with his grades. I think he could walk onto campus and start as a Frosh. We sure will miss Calhoun this year.

My brother sits by Klatt in one of his classes. The day after signing day, JK told my brother that Greer was the guy he thought could contribute the most next year.

I think if Greer qualifies he becomes the starter by week 5. I just don't think there is as much talent in our current RB committee as Barnett has led us to believe. Either that or our OL better show some improvement because when Purify was out the RB's didn't do very well.

I think the OL will be better this year. The DL I have no clue about but it shouldn't get any worse. I sure hope some of our recruits turn out because Nebraska had a heck of a recruiting class and I hate losing to them.
