I am experiencing this right now after a little slip on icy stairs. It's not so fun. There is a lot of movement that is connected to your ass, it turns out. The doctor told me this is a painful and long healing thing to go through. It's only a crack, but still...youch!
Anyone else gone through it? If so, how long before you could sit normally again or before your butt felt halfway back to normal? They told me 4-6 weeks for the bone to heal, but that is generally haunts people for a long time. I hope that's not true.

No experience with a broken coccyx. Good luck, though.

Oh hell yes. About 10 yrs ago taking out the trash. Slipped going down some stairs on some icy steps. Hurt like a Mofo for about a month. I suggest taking massive quantitys of vicodin and naproxin.

Thanks to all of you.
Ha ha sideburn, laugh it up buster. I can't clinch my butt because it feels like something is going bust off in there. Now, I'll just take my cracked ass and my rubber doughnut and be off. :(

Oh man, so many jokes available for this. :)
Hopefully you'll be better in a few weeks when Daytona rolls around. Restrictor plate races are never good for a busted ass.

No sh*t, Max.....literally. The doc gave me pain medication with the warning to only use it when I really need to, as it can constipate you, and you certainly don't want that happening.
What self control you are showing, Sideburn....not cracking ( ha ha ) jokes at my expense. It's killing you isn't, it?! :D

Can't you just have your tail docked like a springer spaniel?
