Earlier this season Earl Boykins became the smallest player in NBA history to score 30+ points in a game (he's done it twice this season), tonight he set the NBA record for points in a single overtime period.

Boykins scored 15 of the Nuggets 21 points in OT, leading them to a 116-110 win over the division leading Supersonics.

Congrats to the little man with the big heart. He isn't having the best of seasons, but he deserves a ton of credit for taking the team on his shoulders and leading them to a big win.

Of course Nene is still suspended, K-Mart has strep throat and Melo suffered another ankle injury when he landed on someone's foot again. But the win is nice regardless.

Again, nice game Earl.

Nice to know all those big salaried Super Stars are helping Boykins out here isn't it? Denver seems to like the little, fast guys. Doesn't Michael Adams still hold the record for consecutive games with 3 point shots? Or something like that.
