If your drinking bunches lobster will be a pain in the ass!!!

Personally I would go for Shrimp and Shrimp.

Well, shrimp is definately on the menu. I got 20 lbs of it. Lobster, I have three of but I was thinking about giving them to my friends mom since she loves lobster and doesnt mind all the work it takes to make and eat. We get some nice Angus beef porterhouse steaks in the fridge marinating so I might as well make those.

Slappy, you gonna BBQ salmon or grill em? I cant imagine BBQ salmon, but I nicely grilled salmon, possibly blackened and spiced up, would be wonderfully delicious.

I season it and put it on foil, then I put it in my 22 1/2" Weber kettle and BBQ it up.

Which should I cook for dinner?

Doesn't matter. What time should we be there?

Well, today it's a great batch of salsa I made, gaucamole, potato salad and a nice brisket that slow cooked all night. I will shred the beef and soak it down with some spicy sauce for sandwiches.

Kept it simple today.

I hate seafood, so just cook steak and everything will be fine.

But in all honesty, if you need an internet message board to help decide what you'll be cooking for dinner tonight, you may have some serious issues.

Deb, I'll be there in an hour. ;)

As the college student in this thread, I'd just like to ask if I should have chicken ramen or beef ramen.

If I didn't already have plans, I would.

Do you work tomorrow though? If so, I might drive down to Denver provided I don't have to go to my internship.

I take hot sauce and sweet and sour sauce and some honey and then I mix it all together and thin it out with water. I use that for a baste most of the time.

alec,

i'm not longer a vegetarian, but i eat seafood now, no red meat though.. I'd go with the shrimp honestly. Now if you had crab, i'd say go on with that.

Dude, I still have a few more months of classes and then God knows how long until I get a job. Please don't burst my bubble.

I'll tell you what man, i have lived poor a good chunk of my life.

Here's what you do. Get some frozen peas or some other vegtable you like and mix it into the ramen. But drain off the water before you add the seasoning. Add crackers or croutons to it.

Also, look at making fried rice (if you have the utils to do so) - very cheap and you can buy a 25# bag of rice for like $10.

Also if you are seriously hurting for cash, look at going to any bakery that sells day old bread/bagles, etc.

Refried bean burritios are so cheap and damn tasty after a burn session. Tortillias are cheap, refried beans are cheap, cheese would be the most expensive.

If you have the utils, invest in bisquick. You can make banging pancakes, garlic/cheese biscuts (like at red lobster), again CHEAP.

PB&J -

make your own trail mix. It's not as expensive as you'd think, plus add generic chex cerials to it.

If you got a ghetto grocery store, (you know where stuff is going to expire next week type of store)... check it out, lots of tomato soup and stuff - the cans are just dinged, watch what you buy, cuz stuff like juice, where the expiration date is critical -

Cream of mushroom soup + milk + eggnoodles + ground beef is a simple cassorole. Not everyone likes it, but it's cheap. (Brown 1lb of beef & onion/garlic, add 3 cans of mushroom soup (condensed), 3 cans of milk, egg noodles to top of pan, cook till it thickens and noodles are soft).
