I liked it much better when it was the Big 8. K-State has only become much of a threat or competition over the last 10 or so years. Since, I became a fan before that, I don't really consider them. They are good and all, but they don't inspire the same ire and emotion that the sooners and cornhuskers do. Even though Nebraska is pretty sad nowdays.

Gary is not the best person in the world, but he is not that bad either. He has just got some bad press, the whole program has. I don't know what to think of the program. I still support them, but I don't tell everyone their my team anymore. A matter of a fact, I'm not sure they are my team anymore. If they screw up too much more, they won't be.

The guy who I really can't stand is Rick Neuheisal. He's the one that brought that chick onboard. One of the worst ideas ever. But he had a few other ideas that would rival as the worst ever. He pretty much crash-landed our whole football program. I can't stand the guy.

Ya know...As for UCLA's program...Its on the way up, after going downhill the past 10 years...Dorrell is a good coach, and should have the program turned around the next few years...As of now though...Pete Carroll and Company arent even in the same ballpark...They are the golden program like you said...and things wont change because of how USC has fared since Carroll took over the program...

Actually even though the game is not over i think Auburn is way better than OU and probably would have given them a better game. Keep in mind that OU was in this game early until the overrated bonehead White threw that stupid INT. that was the dumbest play of the game and just gave USC all the momentum that they needed.

OK, so I'm watching the worst Orange Bowl in history and I hope you're doing the same because you just saw the greatest halftime show EVER. I missed the Kelly Clarkson part (I wouldn't say I missed it) but I came back to see some country guy doing something. Typical lame country performance.

All of a sudden - Ashlee Simpson, her band, her enterage and dancers emerge to play "LaLa". At almost the exact same time, the crowd starts booing. Pretty subtle, but noticable. She gets to the chorus and she screws up her own lyrics. I know this because the background singer (or backing track?) is singing something different, and in time whereas Simpson had a confused look on her face heading into the chorus. The band looks TERRIFIED. The crowd is still booing. I'm laughing. It's beautiful.

Finally, the massacre ends and the crowd is booing HARDCORE. I mean, 4 guys for every one girl hardcore. DADV hardcore. Simpson basically just yelled teh entire time (good choice of songs for her to perform live -- she could do it live and it wouldn't matter if she couldn't sing), but my favorite was when she tried to simulate moaning during the chorus and started yelling "You make me wanna uh uh uh uh uuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh".

God I love live TV sometimes.

This game is out of hand. What is it w/ Bob Stoops and his teams in big games. he's definately one of the top 2 coaches in the country, but his team got blown out by KST in the BIG 12 champ game, struggled last year against LSU and now this.

i'm not saying he's gone down as a coach, but these type of performances from Oklahoma are shocking for the quality of coaching and players they have.

Jokes aside USC came out and played hard from the start. I was shocked to see a Stoops team get beat up so bad. They were out played last year vs LSU but they wern't hit in the mouth time after time like USC did.

Great job USC.. I had a feeling White wasn't going to show up. Looks like I was right.

Beating a program like K-State on their home field, when you're Fresno St, is a big accomplishment...especially when that program of K-State was heralded as a top 25 team this year...Either way...I was poking fun at your loser team...

Me and SoCal are both in agreement that OU should've made Bradley walk back to Norman instead of flying with the team, and once he arrives has his scholarship revoked.
