I'm going to be getting one within the next few weeks. I'm looking for one that's at least 10 Gigs or more. I'm curious who owns one, which brand/model they own, and what do they like/dislike about it.

I have one of the older 10 gig IPOD's. Its pretty decent, but I have to say that I envy my buddy's Sony much more. For one thing the IPOD is a pain because the program it comes with sucks for adding/removing songs of the thing. You can do it obviously, but its annoying. Unless your listening lists will fit entirely on it thats one drawback. From what I've heard I should begin to have some real pain in the ass battery issues soon which cost a bundle to fix. Haven't had any problems with that yet but I'll let you know.
I got the IPOD before the Sony ones, but personally I would get a SONY.

Get one that's CD based. I've got a Memorex CD/MP3 player and absolutely love the versatility. You also don't have the hassle of downloading your MP3s to the player, just pop in the disc and go. I don't even keep MP3s on my hard drive any more. PC based MP3 players have no trouble with MP3 CDs. Neither does my Pioneer DVD player or my Sony DVD player.
If the full size CD player is too big, you can find them that are designed for the mini-CDs (8 cm). Those hold between 185M and 210M each.
Having a DVD burner now, I'm looking forward to portable MP3 players made for the 8 cm DVDs.

There is an iPod Photo that has 60 gigs. Whatever you do make it an iPod, it kills the competition in so many ways its sick!! Using one is second nature, instead of, if you have anything else, you have to stop and think, ok what do I do next to make this happen, with an iPod you never have to think about it. iPods ROCK!!!! ;D

iPods rock right up until you have to buy a new battery.

Count me in the iPod crowd. I have a 20 GB model, and couldn't be happier. The great thing about it is that it can also be used as a data storage device. So, I have about 3 GB of songs on there right now for listening, and I can use the other 17 (or so) GB for transfering data between my business computer and my laptop, or backing up crucial files. Simple to use, sounds great.

I have the iPod mini (4Gig). The cool thing is that it's flash memory so it doesn't skip while your mtn biking or snowboarding - my woman's 20gig is a muther when it comes to active stuff. 4 gig is roughly 1000 thousand songs so unless you don't switchout music for a month, you should be set.
iPod's seriously rock and the iTunes interface has gotten better with each release. I still prefer MusicMatch as my main database because the library is easier to customize.
