Hey Anubis...Going to have a tough game ahead for Virgina...The MPC Computers2 Bowl posts a good matchup against Fresno St, on the Boise Blue Turf, where the Bulldogs lost earlier this year against Boise St...should be a fun game to watch...I call for the upset...Either way, I'm really happy with what Fresno St's coach Pat Hill has done with that organization, scheduling tough opponents in the regular season has definitely benefited him well...Going to K-State, at Boise State, at Washington (well they arent that great but, still a big program...) Last year, at Tennessee, at Oklahoma...these are teams, that I'd thought I would never see Fresno St matchup against...He has done wonders for the program and has the whole Central Valley of California on his bandwagon, and its awesome...anyway, i'll get off his nuts now...Can you clue me into what kind of team Virigina is, I really havent got to watch one of their games this year as I live on the other side of the country...they really dont televise too many of the ACC games over here unless its one of the big 3...

Yea, i expect a good game and Fresno St. does scare me. the @ss whoopin they laid on K-state in their home stadium was just awesome, i repeat Saul JUST AWESOME! :) but,,,, here's to a good game with no injuries to either club! Goooo! Hoooos!! :flower:

P.S- about what kind of team Virginia is. well, they struggled against teams with really good defenses ( Virginia Tech, Florida St ) and had some problems stopping quick and speedy offenses ( Florida St, Miami ). im not sure where Fresno is ranked in either category but UVA is strong against the run ( aside from our little mishap with Vtech ) and our running game is very strong so i figure Fresno will come out to try and stop it early. also, Fresno needs to watch out for Hagans who is a scrambling Qb who can make things happen. we also have a 1st rounder in Heath Miller at TE who can get open and sprint well. what about Fresno? how do they stack up?

Cool...I just read this and wanted to share because its a pretty cool feat...

The Bulldogs, who own the longest active bowl streak in the Western U.S. at six games, has won two consecutive bowl games...I'll get you a little info on them when I get back...gotta go run some errands...But, after reading what you said about Virigina being good against the run, should be a great matchup because the Bulldogs over the season averaged like 220 yards a game...they definitely run more than pass...But, yeah...I'll share some more info when I get back...

Whoops...I really never got back to replying to the thread...Sorry, I was really busy these past 2 weeks...Anyway...The game was awesome, although there were a few bad calls, and broken plays, the Bulldogs salvaged a comeback...and Paul Pinnegar tore sh!t up...Virgina played their hearts out, and was probably the best Bowl game so far this year...Heath Miller will be a name that I will associate with you from now on, cause forsure we'll see him play on Sundays in the future...

meh, im not complaining. Fresno St. played their asses off and if you cant stop a team on 4th down with 11 secs left than thats what happens. it was a good game and at least we didnt get stomped which would have been real embarrassing. ( oops, sorry Saul ) :)

Well, im not complaining either..im not a UVA fan. I just hate to see bad calls help determine the outcome of the game, in any situation.

It is kind of sad when a guy gets tackled at the 2 and its called a td. LOL

It looked weird...thats all I could say...very weird play...but, in the replay you can see that his knee didnt touch the ground at all...right?

Well, im not sure what replay you saw but the ones they were showing on Espn showed he was clearly down but again, thats just football. chances are they would have scored anyway as momentum was on there side. im not worried about it, it was a good game and Fresno deserved the win. :)

Yeah I dont know...I watched it also on ESPN the only channel that televised it here in LA...but, it looked good to me, the replay showed the defender tackle him spinning him into the endzone...maybe its the :puff:so I dont know...either way though, like you said, the momentum had shifted, and a TD from the 2 or the 1 was inevitable...
