Sorry SoCal... looks like they really snatched that one away from Miami today. Methinks next year will be an epic game...

Thanks man....that was a great game that was tough to watch unless you're one of us. Of course the real game today is Army-Navy :loopy:

Watch UCLA win on the last week like they did in 98

BCS's worst nightmare: Auburn, USC, and Oklahoma all lose today.

I hope so...I hope so.

But lets not forget why we have the BCS in the first place and why the media doesn't like it.

I would love to see all 3 teams knocked off, but I'll take any of them.

from how its going, there is no way UCLA will win today. I could see DF's Vols pulling it out. Cal would be the big loser if USC or OU lost.

BOO-YEAH! Field position was the key to our victory today, especially in the second half. Brock couldn't manage ONE 1st down on he last drive which I thought was a bit amusing, but overall great game.

you guys earned it, i cant say anything. berlin wasnt as good as he has been this year but i think today the OLine really hurt him more than anything, as well as bud foster outcoaching us.

Ridiculous refs in this game...clearly holding on bush...no call...but God knew...with the blocked punt on the next play

Congrats, Hokies. The only program in America that owns the Miami Hurricanes.

Miami needs to do something different as far as offensive line recruiting. Today was a joke of epic proportions from the Miami O-line.

Coker just doesn't look like he can cut it anymore. He's had so much talent in his four years as coach and only has one national title to show for it. He's gone from 0 losses in his first season to 1 loss in his second season to 2 losses in his third season to 3 losses in his fourth season. Not a good trend. Next year is his biggest year as coach. If Miami doesn't win the ACC with all of the returning talent then the 'Canes will need a new coach.

I can't stand watching ACC games with Ron Cherry's crew officiating. They're incompetent out there and walk around so slowly after each play trying to figure out what happened. This is the third or fouth game Cherry has reffed Miami and I've come away wishing the horrible Big East refs were out there instead. There were some real questionable penalties out there today, too.

Another joke of a call....Bush fumbles but they call him down while he's standing up?!?!?!

Can you say....fixed....USC is the biggest joke of a number 1 I've ever seen.

Auburn should be above both USC and Oklahoma. Auburn has played the toughest schedule of both USC and Oklahoma. USC schedule is a total joke.

it does come down to recruiting you are right. Lets look at Coker's classes. He saved the 2001 class but he didnt recruit those guys. He has had the 2002 class, 2003 class and 2004 class so far.

Lets look at 2002.
Ryan Moore WR 6-3 185 - Very inconsistent WR. Good 2003, poor 2004, somewhat attributed to injuries but his hands suck.
Devin Hester WR 5-11 168 - Definite Hit
Akieem Jolla WR 6-4 190 - Bust.
Curtis Justus TE 6-6 200 - Bust. Not his fault but still a bust.
Eric Winston TE 6-5 260 - Definite Hit.
Alton Wright DL 6-4 225 - Bust. Even the two years he was here after JC he didnt do much.
Baraka Atkins DL 6-4 240 - Inconsistent. great 2003, poor 2004.
Travarous Bain DB 6-0 170 - Bust.
Kareem Brown DL 6-5 250 - Still not a starter.
Marc Guillon QB 6-4 190 - he is doing us alot of good at tuscaloosa. Bust.
Nate Harris LB 6-2 205 - Bust, but it didnt cost us a ship at least.
Darnell Jenkins WR 5-11 190 - a contributor.
Brandon Meriweather DB 6-1 173 - now a backup. and will be for the forseeable future. bust.
Sinorice Moss WR 5-8 163 - a contributor.
Jon Peattie K/P 6-3 185 - ill give iceman credit although he was off this year.
Alex Pou OL 6-4 276 - still a backup.
Antonio Reynolds LB 6-4 210 - never made it here.
Glenn Sharpe DB 5-11 175 - injuries have ruined his career. he will get another chance.
Greg Threat DB 6-2 185 - HIT.
Terrell Walden DB 6-0 170 - Injury problems, but hasnt made an impact.
Anthony Wollschlager OL 6-6 - Bust
John Wood DL - bust
Greg Olsen TE- hit.
23 Prospects, 4 Definite Hits and a bunch of contributors, this isnt anywhere near good enough hit rate.
