First, the International Red Cross is not the American Red Cross. The international Red Cross is a joke.

The Guantanamo Bay rediculous assertions border on insanity.

They are "chained". Anyone knows these are enemy combatants without anything more than a Gun and would kill any Guard without blinking. But we should play soccer with them?

Second, what I found amusing is the International Red Cross talked about "Temperature Extremes" without anything specific whatsoever. Has anyone been to the Carribean or even Miami? This is about 500 miles south of Miami. Do you people think these terrorists are in Montana freezing? If anything, they would be gratefull that it's cooling off. It's amazing. They are on the southern side of Cuba. Do you really think these terrorists have no blankets or that they are going to freeze in a tropical climate? Give me a break, it's more hot than cold.

Next, they are required to wear orange jump suits. So what. Isn't anyone arrested required to wear a prison jump suit? Anyone arrested in the USA has to wear an Orange Jumpsuit or similiar attire, and may well be held in handcuffs when being transported. It's normal in the USA for decades, but it's torture against Terrorists that are not even aligned, therefore ineligible for treatment under the Geneva Convention? But the fact is, they ARE BEING HELD under terms of the Geneva Convention.

The issue is what to do with them. I wouldn't mind exterminating them for every dead body from 9/11. What do you think their agenda was? Call it Mock's final solution. Sounds bad, but remember, they want to kill Jews and American's at every chance. I honestly don't know what to do, I doubt very much these terrorists can be "rehabilitated" into loving America.

There's no question in reasonable people's minds. These are destructive men who have been taken out of possible action against American military or civilian targets. I won't lose a minute of sleep considering their conditions. The International Red Cross is no more legitimate an organization than the Nobel committee that granted its "Peace Prize" to that paragon of peace, Yassir Arafat (may God grant that his corpse rot quickly.)

One of the IRC complaints is the uncertainty of the detainees fate. well duh, throughout the history of warfare and combat, the unfortunates who are caught, detained whatever have always been uncertain of their fate. Big Deal.

hese are destructive men who have been taken out of possible action against American military or civilian targets.

Did they? I'd be interested in seeing the trials that prove that..

Wait, basic American idealism has been killed.

The war that these men fought in is over, the Taliban has been out of power for quite some time now and yet we continue to hold these people. Are they prisoners of war or criminals? If its the former they should be returned home, if it's the latter they deserve some kind of trial to show it.. after all it's the American thing to do.

They admitted today that they are holding people based on evidence they gained while TORTURING them. We've officially regressed to the fricken 17th century witch hunts.

What the hell is wrong with us? We're torturing people and using that oh-so-reliable evidence to hold these people.

It makes me sick..

Your crazy, if you watched the History Channel tonight you would of seen the Barbaric, Sadistic behavior of Saddam and his Henchmen. 500,000 killed or forever missing. Men hung up under rotating fans and shocked on their genitals.

Give me a break.

BTW, France has a little bit of explaining to do for opening fire on civilians. They can't even control the Ivory Coast. They get scared and shoot then run away. I have never seen such a pussy country. Twice we pull their balls out of the fire, and now, they think they know what they are doing in the Ivory Coast, an incredibly small country. That's what you get with green soldiers. They don't even have a functioning peacekeeping force yet alone an Army. I have never seen such a wussie country. They can't handle a country smaller than Delaware and New Hampshire without retreating? It's tiny and they retreated. Also, there are war crimes on video.

France is unbelievable.

The idea we are in the 17th century torture mode is an MSNBC bunch of crap. We also have word that the prisoners have "extreme temperature conditions". If anything, it's too hot. We didn't put them up in Montana without blankets. Your absolutely crazy. It's tropical. Jesus Christ, the median temperature has to be in the 80's. It might get down to 50 during a cold wave. Your out of your mind. Plus, I bet every one of them has a blanket to boot.

I allready went thru this. These are terrorists. Now listen to this. Are we beheading or doing mass murder of anything Jewish or Hindu or Christian? They don't have a problem. Do I have to remind you of the Taliban's behavior in Afganistan, or is that a dim memory?

How come we have to let them suckle on out teat and when we interrogate them, we are some sort of animals? It's allready established that France can't manage to go in for just a few days in a tiny country and not manage war crimes.
