I really didn't get it. It'd have been cheaper, and safer, just to divorce her, give her half, and pay the chidl support and just move on.

I think he was off his rocker though, so logic goes out the window

Old Dude

Well, let's see. It was 10-2 and they just kicked off two defense-oriented jurors.

Gee, I wonder what the verdict could possibly be?

Goobzilla

Goob the psychic says:

2 counts 2nd degree murder. Guess we'll find out in 15 or so minutes.

Mile High Shack

I liked Chris Rock's rant, "not that killing her was right, but OJ was paying the freight....." Scary thing with that is what the kids will be like.

But, I'm feeling a little sorry for fox/cnn news .... first no dem in the WH and now the Peterson trial over.

Ha! . you cant blame OJ for that ......... those Columbian Drug lords can be anywhere , I though OJ moving to Miami , and throwing his Girlffriend out of a moving Car , Punching anther Motorist , getting in trouble for satilite piracy , and Golfing is the perfect way to infiltrate , the Drug Lords ring and expose them as the real killers ..................you have to gain these peoples trust to get in thier inner circle ...... I saw it on TV ;D

Ever since the OJ trial, these sensationalist cases are almost a yearly event....c'mon folks...OJ, Ramsey, Levy, Blake, now Peterson...there's always something like this happening now.

It's become both boring and ghoulish...I can almost guarentee that the media will have another one to wet it's wad over in 6 months max...they need this blown up, sensationalistic hype for sure fire ratings now.

I didn't even watch the verdict, matter of fact..the whole thing just makes me yawn.

Good point Hogan.

In fact, each time one of these verdicts is read and there's a huge crowd outside the courthouse, I feel like I'm watching a modern-day Salem witch trial.

I do agree. This was really just a run-of-the-mill murder case that the media turned into a mega-event for their own purposes. No celebs involved, no pols. Just a fertilizer salesman.

And he's in the morality-challenged blue states. Even if he gets the death penalty, I doubt he'll have the sentence carried out.

Don't blame the media. Tony Blake's career was so over that nobody could generate any interest in him killing a woman who probably had it coming. They had to find whatever they could in the private sector and make the best of it.

What happened to Baretta? I don't even remember. Must of been on a roller. Last time I checked he went an capped his old lady and went back into the resteraunt to get his gun. Nice Alibi. I always leave a gun in the resteraunt and shot my girlfriend with a second one, then look for the dumpster.

Between OJ, Scott the Anchor and Baretta we are two thirds of the way to a dead mans hand.

Should have tried him in Texas. He'd be dead in less than 5.

He wasn't saying that spider. He was saying that the sentance will probably be reduced to life w/o parole. The red states make sure we kill these pricks.

Hasn't been handed down yet. More than likely he'll get the DP for Lacy's death, 20 to life for Conner. If he gets the DP, it will be reduced within 2 years.

I think the average lifespan of an inmate on death row in California is like 20 years. It's funny I live hear in Modesto (unfortunately) and everyones starting to gather at Scott and Lacies house. Anything to get on TV I guess.
