Poll forthcoming.

I worked for a campaign during the summer and came home to work the last 4 days before the election, that included getting up at 2 am on election day to go put signs up. Donated a bit of money as well.

I donated to Thune, Bush, RNC, and the CRP. I didn't donate to Coors. I also helped with campaigns, though my mono prevented me from walking precincts like I did two years ago. My Dad ended filling my spot for the Douglas County 72 hour task force, so he picked up the slack for me. I did register some people, though. :USA:

Bump, even though it is only half way down the page.

I guess I can take the lack of responses or votes to show that all the Lefties that are here only piss and moan instead of actually going out and doing something to see that the candidates they support get elected.

As always your abilities to read the minds of others is astonishing

Damn straight since a good chunk vocal left leaners have been on the site and posted since this thread has been up. Weird they're completely avoiding this.

Go out and work for change or instead of sitting in front of your monitor and bitching. I'd be saying the same thing to Bush supporters if Kerry had won.

I reached for the remote and muted every political ad. I threw away every peice of campaign mail and door litter without reading it. I did not listen to political talk radio or political interviews (or the debates which are not real debates but staged political ads). I asked both parties to take me off their BS automated call lists, which of course neither did.

Then I researched the candidates and issues on forums as independent as possible and reached my decisions.

My votes were split between Rep, Dem and Libertarians. I refuse to become a sheep following any political party.

I'm sure you would...

Or you could take the lack of responses from the left and RIGHT as either people didn't do much or aren't interested much about the poll.

Since the right won, they aren't the ones bitching. That's why I'm more curious about what the left did, and I'm assuming you did nothing since you responded but must have overlooked mentioning what you did. As I said before that if Kerry had won, I'd be curious what those on the right who would most likely be complaining did during this election.

I already posted what I did in another thread so you wrong, I'm just not interested in the poll.
