Bush the flip-flopper has had four years to get Osama and, just as with everything else about his pResidency, has failed miserably.

Bush said himself that he wasn't all that concerned about bin Laden (except, of course, when a "new" OBL video can be used to his political advantage.)

This tape proves that we are facing a real threat, not some "nuisance". This tape also dispells all those left-wing nut case theories that Bush destroyed the WTC and Pentagon so he could invade Iraq and make Haliburton richer.

4 years? Is that all? Didn't we defeat Germany without knowing where Hitler was? Afterall, rumors abounded in May of '45 that Hitler was able to get away.....and others said that he was dead. Despite not knowing which rumor to believe Germany surrendered to us anyways.

Eric Rudolph was able to evade capture for almost 6 years hiding in his home town for Pete's sake. A huge manhunt and he evaded capture for 6 years in a county that has fewer than 50,000 residents.

Did he have help....it's possible, but we have no idea.

Did they stop looking for him? Not with a million $ price on his head....a few locals from here looked for him every weekend hoping to hit that lottery.

Was he well versed in the art of camouflage and evasion? Possibly......he allegedly was a skilled hunter.

The point is that your expecting us to capture a man who is hiding in arguably one of the most treacherous territories, who more than likely has hidden tunnels that allow him to go between Afghanistan and Pakistan at will, and who has millions of people who might be harboring him and protecting him......basically a needle in a haystack.

What the tape says to me is that if the Bush administration had finished the job at Tora Bora instead of outsourcing that job in order to divert military resources to Iraq, perhaps Osama would not be free as a bird, unpunished and unrepentant, to make more threatening videotapes.
