This game is outrageous. So good. If you even remotely like Vice City, you'll cream your pants over this game.

Actually, I don't like the series either. But I am in the minority.

This game's a blast. Most fun I've had with a video game in years. Easily makes my top 5 games ever...

If you like the movie "Friday"... this is basically a Friday you can play. Massive world, great voice acting (Samuel L Jackson, Ice T, Charlie Murphy, Chris Penn, etc), fantastic soundtrack...

It's just limitless as far as what you can do.... if you have any interest whatsoever, give this a shot. You'll love it.

I picked this one up when it first came out. GTA is one of those series that keeps getting better as it goes along.

I've played 10 minutes of Vice City and that was it. Wow, let's steal cars. That's awesome.

Hell, that was being done on the original Playstation version of the game.

Is there any differences between the Xbox version and the PS2's other than graphics and game speed.

you get 30 second replays and can play your own music in the unlikely case you dont like one of the in game radio stations.

Not half naked. all the way naked. minigame in the beginning of the game has you boning two broads for red orbs. Kissing naked sea nymphs, fighting topless medusas which is oddly intriguing, and saving the oracle of athens. who has a mighty fine rack. for the ladies and "happy" dudes, you got kratos in a loincloth and boots. whats not to love.

Are we allowed to say something like that because if i recall my buddy WisconsinHomer got into some trouble for saying stuff like that?

Not exactly, there's no full-frontal nudity or anything like that but some T & A.

I thought the game itself was well done, though there could have been more bosses.

Been nice to have a bit of a longer game, but maybe if they make a sequel. I love it when you nail the minotaur to the door with a spike. its just awesome.

God of War plays like a movie, cinematic shots, tension, drama, romance, kinda. and vengence on the God of War. This is a great game. If it goes to xbox, it wont be until xbox360. Other day i pulled off a 352 hit combo, was a machine, kicked some undead centaur ass.

somehow reminds me about ninja gaiden (buy a new controller with the game if you plan on getting this, you wont beat it without breaking at least one).

G.o.W is good, which i didnt expect, controls are excellent, combos easy to do, and you literally have hundreds of combos that can be done. Swords of Chaos are possibly the best bladed weapon i have seen in a game. Ares is a prick in this one, and the female, human and otherwise, are half nekkid. cant lose

Nooooooo! My local "Worst Buy " was sold out this afternoon. Damn it! I dont have the energy to go to Frys and pick it up right now. Sigh... looks like I'll have to wait one more day to get my gangsta glock fix...

Jens, you grab it yet? Thoughts... impressions?

I wasnt aware that they still censor the Deutche version of games still my friend. That sucks. Out of curiousity, did they even have the Return to Wolfenstein game there or did they chop it up too?

it was put on the index here after a few weeks. it was 18+ and when a game is on the index here it means the following things: no ads (that even includes mentioning the name´s game in top seller lists, articles etc.) and the shops arent allowed to have it in their shelves on open display. so if you want the game, you have to ask the guys, show your id and theyll sell it to you.

3 years ago they introduced new laws after we had a columbine like tragedy and it turned the shooter was a counterstrike addict. so now you can only buy 18+ games over the web if you prove that you´re older than 18. this goes for imported games also. but as were living in the eu, i can easily order games online without proving my age from austria or the uk. im older than 18, but i simply cant be bothered to scan my passport. its a witch hunt. germany is a hole for video gaming.

and as rock* want to sell as many games as possible here, they had to take out some fun features like blood, kicking bodies etc. to make the game 16 rated.

It's a good thing I've "retired" from CS, I don't want to go shoot up a school or place of business.
I've never been a big fan of the GTA series. The novelty of jacking cars expired quickly with me back in the original GTA. Sounds like these new ones have more to offer though. Plus, how can I turn down a game with Ice-T and Charlie Murphy? The tables have turned darkness!

im not really much into online gaming but the stories i hear about CS are quite disturbing. dont think theres much fun in playing with 15-16 year old kids (no offense to anyone that age).

the new gtas are simply unbelievable. bar mmorpgs, the gta games are easily the most complex games youll ever come across. theres so much more to it than just jacking cars, you dont know what you miss out on. you can do anything there.

samuel l jackson is doing the voice acting for one character in SA, too. :) oh, and you can even listen to your own radio station during the game by putting your mp3s into the game. hell, the gta games are worth their cash for the radio stations only.

If you go play in a pub you'll play against a bunch of 10-16 year old kiddies...but in the competitive scene of the game you don't get it to much.

I may have to go pick this game up. It's not hard to make a game with loads of violence worth the money you shell out for it.

I haven't decided if I want to get this game for PC or XBOX. I'm sure you'll have more options on the PC, and have kick-ass mods, but I kinda have a crappy computer, so I don't know how it would run. Vice City ran okay on my computer, but you can tell it could've been better. Hell, I just might wait for the PS3, for the new GTA game. I heard rumors that it will be online. Who knows.

I still need to finish KOTOR II. I just don't ever have time to sit down and play these days. Gaming usually comes in seasons for me... Where I'll get a good month when I can take a deep breath and not feel like I've got the walls caving in on me at work.

I did manage to find time to play through the Episode III button masher. Great game, and much replayability, IMO (if you like to try to master these types of games).

I've been reading everywhere that the PC version is VERY buggy. Here is a thread on another board that goes in detail about the PC version. I guess the X-Box version isn't that good either.

Must have missed all that between the shooting of cops and beating of hookers.

Never actually played any of the GTA games.

One of my former co-workers from Boulder kept trying to get me to play GTA 3 because he was convinced the main character from the game looked a lot like me. Except, whenever he said it he got a funny little gleam in his eye which, frankly disturbed me to no end and kinda weirded me out from playing any of the GTA series.

I've played GTA III and Vice City, thoroughly enjoyed both, but agree that kids need to be supervised when playing. I'm looking forward to getting San Andreas, haven't seen it in the stores, probly cause I haven't really looked yet.
