Need some advice!

Hey all!

I've a bit of a conundrum as to who to start this week. We start 2 RB, 3 WR. I have:

T Owens vs Carolina (no brainer there)
D Stallworth vs Minnesota
A Lelie vs Chokeland
R Curry vs Denver
D Patten vs Seattle

and the RBs

L Tomlinson vs Jax
R Droughns vs the Faid
T Jones vs Washington
L Suggs vs Cincy

Right now I'm leaning towards Owens, Stallworth, Lelie and then Tomlinson and Droughns. Am I starting the right guys? Thanks in advance, :thumbsup:

I'm new at this and notoriously lousy at picking starters, but you might want to reconsider sitting Thomas Jones.

This is from a column on sportsline:

"Thomas Jones, Chicago: On the surface, it would appears Jones isn't the most favorable option this week. The loss of QB Rex Grossman for the season scars the offense, and this week's opponent -- the Washington Redskins -- is one of the better teams in the league against the run. But the 'Skins enter this contest with several injuries that make Jones much more attractive. SS Matt Bowen (knee) is out for the season, LB Micheal Barrow (knee) and DT Phillip Daniels (groin) are out, and LB Lavar Arrington (knee) and DT Joe Salave'a are questionable. Bears coach Lovie Smith is certain to attack this patchwork unit with 20-25 carries for Jones, who should rush for 100-plus yards and find the end zone at least once."

I think the status of Reuben Droughns is still somewhat of a mystery. Shanahan will surely get him some carries after last week, but no one seems to know how much time will be split with Quentin Griffin.

(OTOH, I sat Droughns on the bench last week, and lost a game that I would have won if I'd played him.)

I was going to say Suggs for same reasons against Droughns. but I like Suggs. but like you said if droughns plays........ he'll get you hella points this week. raiders are funny this year one game Offence works next Deff. but never same time. If I remember correctly its time for deff not to work for our game.
I think we may end up splitting carries but thing is Droughns is a power back. sooo seems logical to me if do split them Droughns may end up running ball in to endzone more.
damn I think I just talked myself into playing droughns......... Got to go change somethin on my team. ........

oh and by way I still dont know about playing lellie he is getting better but inconsistant some games makes great catch sometimes zilch better then straight zilch. thing is your other two qr are same way. but patton when he dose make pts he makes them big.

no go with Lelie like his chances against raiders pass def it is huge step bellow seattle (who would have thought?) I looked up.
