So, what this says to me is that Bush doesn't have the sack to stand up to his republican friends in the congress and veto their spending bills. Indeed, why would he have reason to stand up to his cronies?
Until the president gets a line-item veto, this will always happen. In order to get what Bush wants, he'll have to accept some pork in the same bill. It's a reality of politics and I don't see it going away any time soon.

Hmmm...first he's an independent, then in the next breath he's a registered Democrat?
What I meant was, I am registered as a democrat. But, on the presidential elections I vote for the person. Not the party (unlike some people, not referring to you. Just people in general.)
I think that bush will do a better job than kerry, that is the reasoning for my vote.

This, IMO, is one of the frat boy's most dangerous defects of character.
you do realize that that both these guys not only went to the same school but were members of the SAME SECRET FRAT SOCIETY. Maybe you should label them frat boy#1 and frat boy #2 in your biased rants?
Bush will not ever admit to anything wrong just like Kerry will not ever stick to a particular opinion or conviction. So pick your poison. :undecided

Why don't we discuss the slavery that Arab Terrorists are imposing on the Sudan. They have wiped out the Christians, but that isn't enough for these bloodthirsty demons, they are now wiping out Black Muslims that don't have their brand of Islam.
Whre is the UN? Seems like France, Germany and Russia have plenty of troops to step in. Where are they? Where is the UN? Where is even the USA, altho it's plate is full?
It really is disgusting what's going on over there. And it's been going on for awhile now. I'm surprised that neither candidate hasn't used this as an example to make their points. Bush bringing home the fact that terrorism is more wide spread than some would believe and the rest of the world doing nothing..... and Kerry could easily show how Bush hasn't pushed the international community enough to respond to this. Or the fact that we're too tied up to do anything about it..... or simply won't.
Ten's of thousands of Black Christians have been sold into SLAVERY right now! And they're the lucky ones if you consider how many have been and are currently butchered as you read this.
Where's the outcry?

God help us all if there's many more like you out there.
that ANYONE can see what we've seen from this president and actually vote for the man again is disturbing.
It's sad to see people who try to rationalize their support for bush putting pride, ego, and party loyalty over the good of the country.
