Anyone know if Vanderjagt is out for Sunday? I have Akers as my kicker and he's on a bye. I'd figure that anyone kicking for the Colts would get a decent load this weekend and I could sneak him in under the radar.

I'm in one of those high priced leagues where it costs to pick up players and you can't made trades. Yeah, I know, I hate it too. So, Akers is pretty valuable to me with my limited roster number.

I disagree. I've won many FF games because of a good kicker. See if someone like Kris Brown or Nate Keading is still available on the waiver wire.....

I don't have the luxury of picking up another kicker. my roster is pretty tight with the bye week and injuries and suspensions.
I plan on starting Vanderjagt, who I hope will at least kick some extra points.

Good thing you recanted that statement. No way can you drop an Akers or Vandy. If you somehow end up with both though, I would use one of them in a package deal to upgrade another position. In this scenerio, I would have tried to trade Akers or Vandy and upgrade another position while getting a Kicker in that deal. You'll still end up having one of the top 3 Kickers in Akers or Vandy and you end up with a K to fill in for a week while upgraded elsewhere.
I am a firm beleiver that you can NOT draft a Kicker before the late rounds of a draft because there is far more value in taking a potential RB/WR/QB stud then there is on a Kicker.
However, if you get a Vandy, Elam, Akers type kicker, you NEVER drop them.
The only position more useless then Kicker IMO is TE. In 4 weeks in Pez's league, I have a combined ZERO points from my TE's.
