55 seconds in and punt blocked and returned for a touchdown...something tells me that this is going to be a long night for Houston.

that was such a bogus call on the roughing the passer. Miami is going to come out pissed in the second half.

well, Houstons Qb has worked with the Houston coach for 8 or more years so i think he should be pretty good in that system by now. i do agree though, Brock looks very overrated as he cant hit the broad side of a barn lately.

An embarrassing offensive performance from Brock Berlin on national television. If we only had a real quarterback who didn't stare down one receiver, throw terrible passes to wide open players, have no pocket prescense at all, etc etc. If Brock wasn't such a nice person and all around good guy it would be a lot harder to even tolerate him in a Miami uniform. Ugh.
The defense played decent against a gimmick offense on 4 days' rest. Miami never plays well on Thursday night and especially against gimmick offense's like Houston was running. Brock's fumble essentially ended the no touchdown streak for the defense. The defensive line did not play a very good game at all.
I hate games like this where there is really nothing to gain and everything to lose. Hopefully nobody was seriously hurt and the offense improves when the game has more meaning. Oklahoma is probably feeling good about their performance against Houston after watching this game, though the circumstances were different. The Sooners and Trojans have such an advantage at the QB position over Miami, that's for sure.
